Re: Toribox- Goldeneye -Pierce Brosnan Suit (FULL PAYMENT DUE) NEW PHOTOS P1

Bond needs to be immaculately tailored. His shirt cuffs should hit the break of the wrist, and the jacket sleeves should be the 1:6 equivalent of about a half inch shorter -- just enough for the shirt sleeves to peek out of the jacket sleeves a tiny bit. But they must show.

The shirt collar should be a spread collar, not a standard collar. I pointed this out with the Goldfinger shirt as well.

If the suit is supposed to be bespoke, the last (bottom) of the four buttons on the jacket sleeve would be left undone.

Re: Toribox- Goldeneye -Pierce Brosnan Suit (FULL PAYMENT DUE) NEW PHOTOS P1

to answer the question of what body is being used, it is currently on a ttm18, as was the body instructed to be tailored to. it is a HT one, not a knock off. perhaps there is some kind of discrepancy in the arm length?

in any case, the collar and pant legs are definitely improvements that can be made and no matter what the body, they would be clear

gruff, i absolutely agree, and thats why I went with the prototype option, so we have a chance to make these changes!

I am also trying to keep in mind the style of the 90s, which of course was nowhere near as form fitted as today, but even saying that, the sleeves are still a tad long. i will try this on a few other bodies i have laying around and post some pics

Re: Toribox- Goldeneye -Pierce Brosnan Suit (FULL PAYMENT DUE) NEW PHOTOS P1

Maybe it is due to the fact the shoulders can be pushed up on the hot toys bodies? I'm not sure if I'm describing it best, but you can make shoulders on hot toys bodies do a 'shrug' and it can greatly alter the length of the arms. Especially in suits.

Could be! And I like the arms pushed up like that. I always through my they seemed disproportionately long otherwise

I've gotta say, I love that suit on Sean Connery as well. Brilliant tailoring for 1/6th.

Re: Toribox- Goldeneye -Pierce Brosnan Suit (FULL PAYMENT DUE) NEW PHOTOS P1

here is the suit on a coulson body, as usual, looks great just like everything does on this body!

(other disclaimer, i just realized the first body i used was a ttm18 with shorter forearms, some sort of newer stock HT body i got off TA, so thats why the sleeves seemed long)

But Colson body should be shorter as ttm 18, no?I mean-how arms can
be longer then?
Have you old style ttm 18 or even 21 to trie?

Re: Toribox- Goldeneye -Pierce Brosnan Suit (FULL PAYMENT DUE) NEW PHOTOS P1

Looks good, but pants could be bit wider at the end, no?

Yup, we still need to get the bottom of the pants and the collar fixed, but it looks like the debate on sleeve length is over. Great job chilipep!

:goodpost: I concur with the above statement.
Sleeves look good now; bottom of pants still could use fixing.
But looks much better on coulson body.
Might look into getting this coulson body in future. Thanks for the tip, chilipep.

Agree with everything here. I think suit looks great on either Coulson or regular TTM18 body. And that Connery suit...I kick myself for not jumping in on that every time I see it lol.

Payment sent, Mike. Please confirm you received.
