What kind of timeline are you looking at for this project Chilipep? I'm very much interested, but my funds are pretty tied up for the time being so I may have to sit this one out depending on when balances will be due. :)

id say about a month for deposits, 3 for full payment, 4-5 for product in hand

Was there a consensus on the tuxedo? I for one would prefer an outfit unique to Roger Moore's Bond. Like the Goldfinger suit for Connery and the Goldeneye suit being made for Brosnan. Not very exciting to have a shelf full of different Bond actors all in a tuxedo. I would prefer the safari suit he wore in The Man with The Golden Gun or the uniform he wore in The Spy Who Loved Me.

Well like you just said, you won't have a shelf full of tuxedos because Connery and Brosnan aren't in a tux, plus this particular tux is very unique to Moore and 70s style, with the wide lapels and bell bottoms and all. The outfit choice is pretty much set.

Well, there's a couple of things about this tux that I think is why we settled on it.

1) It's not "out there" like some of the safari jackets.

2) "The Spy Who Loved Me" was the peak of the Moore series (I think most would agree), and they went downhill fast after that.

3) The head Rocco made is really in the "MWTGG" or "TSWLM" age range.

4) The tux gives you multiple options for display...because he wore it for a LOOOONG time in that film, including in one iconic fight scene with Jaws. I for one will probably display him like this:

I wouldn't have picked it as my first choice, but it is a pretty iconic look, so I'm ok with it.

Oh - I should add - INTERESTED FOR SURE.

I don't have any problem with the choice. I'm planning on displaying all my Bonds in a tux since most iconic images of James Bond depict him in one. Doesn't mean we should have to use the same generic tux for each incarnation though. If other outfits pop up I'll definitely check them out, but this is a good choice for Moore.
