Hey guys, just wanted to keep you updated on everything here.
I am sorry for if I'm annoying you with no WIP pics or other kinds of updates and just keep posting quotes! :lol
But I think it's my right at least to keep you noted on what's going on.

I have been emailing Yunsil several times about the status of this project, and finally got her response as follows below:
"your project already is finished.
but I need more time.
because I must check size and detail and record reminder message. then make again. then take a picture and show you.
but If I have little trouble, I repeat to check size and detail, make a outfit."

So, we're almost there to see a sample! Soon.

I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news: Related to the prototype pictures, it looks phenomenal!
The bad news: Related to the new list of prices by Yunsil on this project!

Here's the first email I've received from Yunsil regarding the prototype:

"I finished your project.
This is final sample.
I finished first sample few weeks ago as I told you.
but It has little trouble.

1. zipper size is big, but It need small zipper space
2. zipper handle size is big

so, I was tring to find method for a few weeks.

I printed fake zipper (attached filed bottom, left jacket) and I made zipper handle for 3d print.
I was finding company that can do it. but I finally find out .
It don't need printed fake zipper and resin zipper handle.

Attached file bottom, right jacket.
how do you think about it?

That is real metal zipper. and I changed jacket fabric.
It's different from what I showed you before. (fabric swatch)
After first sampe, I changed it to a thinner one. final sample fabric is thin fabric.

Thank you."

The second email regarding the new prices:

"Dear Hosam,
You know, we can set exact unit price after we make a sample.
I would like to inform you that the quoted price for the Negan project has changed.
Like I told you before, we don't exactly know some design elements there until making a sample. So the prices are subject to change.

The jacket is complex more than Yunsil thought.
She knew that the leather jacket takes too long to make after she made the jacket.

So the price of the leather jacket has unavoidably risen due to the difficulty of making.

The NEW unit prices are as below.
- Unit Price for 10 - 14 sets : $630.00 USD
- Unit Price for 15 - 19 sets : $525.00 USD
- Unit Price for 20 - 24 sets : $435.00 USD
- Unit Price for 25 - 29 sets : $385.00 USD
- Unit Price for 30 - 34 sets : $350.00 USD
- Unit Price for 35 - 39 sets : $335.00 USD
- Unit Price for 40 - 44 sets : $315.00 USD
- Unit Price for 45 - 49 sets : $300.00 USD
- Unit Price for more than 50 sets : $280.00 USD

The unit price is different depending on order quantity.
Prices do not include PayPal fees. You should pay PayPal fees.



You know, you need to increase the order quantity if you want to reduce the price.

I suppose there is no way to avoid prices these days. 40 dollars is not anything I like to give away but it is also not the end of the world. All prices I have seen lately have increased across the board. There are other tailors out there that charge this same amount or more. I’m happy to have Yunsil and I’m still in for where we are at 33-34, right??

Yes, it was a long sleeve tee. I don't know why she went with the short ones tho!
But to me, I'd say the short sleeves are way better. I don't know about the other guys!
