Hi Freaks and Van Gogh fans! I think most of us who got the fantastic Rocco sculpt would appreciate a proper straw hat to go along with it.
Corosse has agreed to take on this project.
The pricing is $300 for the design/sculpt work. Since there isnt much interest 4-5 people we have decided for cost reasons it would be best to print each hat. The print of each hat, based on previous hats by Corosse's printer, are going to be $100 (maybe a little less based on the printers decision of which machine is necessary for the print).
FOR EXAMPLE the total for 1 hat, if we have 4 interested as of today (March 1st) The price for each hat would be $175. So the more interested the cheaper this will be. Lets make this happen guys. I'll leave the interest until March 3rd and then we can determine the final price based on number of interested and will accept the deposits
Corrose will require half the deposit fee ($150 total) to complete the design/sculpt, which takes a total of 3-4 days. Once the design proto is shown we can provide feedback if necessary for changes. Once everyone has approved the remainder fee of $150 is due then the prints will take a total of 1-2 weeks.
Below is a sample of the pattern Corrose has created as a study. I think it looks great, however, we can modify the braid pattern based on the chart below. Corrose used the #4 braid so that could be adjusted to more or less. Let me know your thoughts.
