Do you guys think that Hot Toys will be skipping this version of Luke? If they do make it, I don't see how they can screw it up, his RotJ outfit is pretty simple.

I know Yunsil does incredible work, I have her Indy, and Rocketeer sets. It just seems like a lot of money to spend when there's every likelihood HT will make this and it will be totally acceptable at the very least.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone, if anything, I'm trying to figure out if I should skip this or get onboard myself [emoji1]

No, I agree HT will probably do it but I still like the quality of some customisers on here. Can use different outfits from rotj like jabba palace vs throne room or add a poncho for endor. It will definitely have a different head which might suit a scene better when posing. HT may give more accessories than can be used in 1 pose so depends on your setup at home.
Worst case scenario is; I have two awesome Luke figures.

Also, by the time HT does release a Jedi Luke their prices will probably have caught up with the customs.:rotfl

Of course HT are doing it but, as teleray said above, who knows what their pricing will be like then.

Also this will be far superior in terms of quality and also out sooner.

Also, if it helps get folks over the line, you can never beat bespoke tailoring by an artist like Yunsil. Hot Toys is in the semi-mass production business. Their efforts will always fall slightly short because of time, cost and demand constraints. Yunsil's outfit for Luke will be a masterpiece crafted for a dedicated handful. Not that exclusivity should play any part. But if you're serious about the love of this character, this project is the obvious choice.

Now bring on the Inigo masterpiece!
