Doggie is planning on making Indiana Jone’s boots and accessories from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Boots will be based on the Alden 405 style that Harrison wore in the film. The plan would be to only offer these painted and with laces similar to how Doggie made his recent Walter boots.

Doggie will also make an “Idol Temple” accessory set as a DX option. This would include the idol, sand bag, and gun.

Shoes will be sold individually and also as part of the DX accessory set.

In regards to the Idol, will it have those inset eyes visible in that shot above? If so, that would be the first time the idol has been offered with them, and definitely a reason to pick one up.

That is the plan! I was thinking the same thing with how it hasn’t been done before. The eyes will be painted to be accurate to the prop.

Hey, folks. Research, research.

So in checking deeply into the guns of Indiana Jones I have found that the model I have referenced above is the CORRECT model gun. The Smith and Wesson is "Indy's" gun. However the version he carries is modified with a shortened barrel. For the temple scene specifically the gun used was a modified version of it. The main difference is the shortened barrel and the grip detail, which is entirely different. You will also notice that the lower left corner of the grip in the image I posted is missing. This was the SCREEN USED gun and you can see this detail in scenes where the gun is used. So since we're going "temple scene specific" we will doing the modified version of the Smith and Wesson with the more detail grip and missing chunk.

The gun specifically used in the idol scenes. This is the gun Indy hands over to Belloq at the culmination of the opening of the movie. This is the version of the gun we will be using. It will include the missing chunk of the grip along with all markings on the barrel and other places where markings are present.
