Yeah count me out, sorry guys. Just not feeling the sculpt anymore after seeing it painted. :/

Last angle looks ok though, and should look awesome with the hat and suit all together.. just not feeling it anymore.

Congrats to those who do get it as it will be much more limited.

Yeah. Paint is superb but the likeness isn't there after the paint hits it. This happens with sculpts sometimes.

Its not the paint. That parts excellent. The face is too fat and that throws the likeness way off. And what the hells going on with the ears?!!!!!

I'm working on this guys. The cheek bones appear way too wide which makes the face shape look odd. I asked nathan for some more pics, different lighting and pulled back from the camera a bit. I plan on having this guy on display and part of my portfolio so I don't plan on stopping until this is perfect and right now, it isn't.

The tux will arrive in a couple weeks so hopefully by then we'll have the head sculpt perfected for some final product shots.

That's a commendable attitude, mike. You and Nathan will make a great team with your similar work ethic. It's unfortunate that issues can sometimes remain hidden until painted.

Trust me... Im a huge Jim Carrey fan, so this is a must have for me. And if you're gonna give it a second look and fix it, then you have my total support on this.

And I'd rather have a cool Dumb and Dumber custom on my shelf rather than some meaningless Christmas card. I know you'll make it happen!

Ears and face width. Keep in mind the hair was not sculpted as full as it could have been BECAUSE it was meant to wear the top hat. THAT is what is making the cheek area look so wide and ears seem odd.

These heads are on their way back to Mike soon, so lets wait to see what they look like with the hat on. It might make all the difference.

I'm still in Mike! I already paid for the Tux and don't plan on backing out now!

That's big of you Mike to fix what you think needs fixing in order to get it perfect! You should be commended for that type of attention to detail.

The paint job is great however as mentioned the sculpt is off just a bit. The gum line is throwing off the likeness. His teeth should be longer and less gum should be showing. Even when Jim has a large smile on his face you never see that much of his gums. Also the ears may need more defining, they look to be swollen.
