1/6 scale Charlie's Angels 1976

This is an interest thread to see if anyone would be interested in this set or individual pieces. for wgp 30 people who are interested in buying in the set/ individuals.

Reason being that since it's an old line people tend to flake out on old shows and we need serious buyers if we intend to cast.

Let's face it people have gotten close but always miss on one of these characters to have one good set. So Im curious how many people would be interested.

I really like old school shows so I would be interested in sculpts of all 6 of the Angels depending on how the sculpts turn out. This might be a hard sell those as only Farrah and Tanya have any crossover appeal. I'm not a fan of digital prints so I haven't purchased any WGP heads at this point. I am interested in a lot of properties they are working on so I will keep watching to see if anything comes of this.

right now this is fact finding since we dont want to take many chances and have people back out when the sculpts are printed and sanded and noone buys. thats why for old shows we need at least 30 interested in buying because we know at least 15 will back out. that way 15 will be actually buying including myself. I'll be doing some wardrobe when and if this is a go i'll be making the proto's and having pete/silver surfer do the paintups.

ladd and the other people are kinda iffy since they may not be a big sell
thats why we are posting the main cast from 1st season. if we can get people interested and serious then we may do a interest within this page for mrs ladd as jills sister. all of the characters will be bald with the exception of john bosley he will get sculpted hair.

we will be using wigs for the sclpts because of the big 70's hair will look terrible sculpted. if we do get popular and serious collectors that want to buy sean will do a print up and we can start rolling. casting cost money so we need to be cautious about just casting and taking a chance and all that tallent lost.

I understand where you are coming from with all that. Personally I hate wigs on 1/6th scale as they always end up looking like, well bad wigs. I imagine Farrah's hair wouldn't be easy to sculpt, but all the girls would look fine with sculpted hair. There are sculptors on here who have proven that sculpted hair can look nice, that is what I prefer. If the sculpts turn out nice and can be bought without the wigs I would be game for them. I would just have to hire someone else to sculpt the hair. I hope you get the interest needed as it would be cool to have some angels up in the collection. I would bet that Tanya Roberts would end up being the biggest seller. She was a Bond girl as well as Sheena and her character from Beastmaster would be a cool bash. Farrah was in Saturn 3 and Logan's Run. The others never did anything that would make an interesting figure, but it would be cool to have them all as Charlie's Angels.

Not true. Just think of Jacylyn Smith as the Kmart blue light special girl! Now that is something worth having!

On a non-comedic side and getting back on track, I loved this show as a kid, but can't see putting figures together for them.

Now, The Dukes of Hazzard would be a completely different story!

I hear all your thoughts and if we get enough interest i will see if we can do a bald and sculpted hair version. that way everyone is covered.

It all depends on the amt of interest. I always felt that this original team was iconic it started the angel craze and if we do get enough votes ill add ladd and roberts to wave 2

but the 1st wave needs to sell 1st and could use the word out guys.
