I have two different glasses designed along with the Folger's can, lid, bowling pin and ball all modeled and currently being printed. Hoping to have them in the next week or two so I can start doing some paint apps and molding/casting.

Got you guys down. Prints of everythign are supposed to be here today. These are just prints to be used as masters for casting, but at least I'll have something to show finally.

Still working on the Otomix shoes. They were never an original part of the set but a lot of people requested them. I can't promie anythign yet but I'm working on them. I have 3D modeled the soles since they have some cool details. Now just need to work on the shoes proper. I haven't decided if I am going to 3D model the shoes or sculpt them by hand...

Lots of prep and finishing to do before molding anything but I think the sizes are perfect.

A few updates. First glasses were test cast in clear resin. I think they look great. Ball and pin are prepped and smooth for casting.

I 3D modeled the Otomix shoes and will build the shoes atop them. Those will be here this week.

Both of those glasses look great, I will take both. You are doing a phenomenal job thus far. I am a bit confused as to the requests and which shoes you will go with. I know there is a thread for BOTH outfits so everyone wants the shoes for their respective outfit choice. In line with these accessories though, the dude is wearing the bowling outfit when the they hold Donny's funeral (coffee can scene). Obviously he is NOT wearing the bowling shoes out on the cliffs of California but is instead wearing the sandals. Just speaking in terms of the accessories you are offering, either the sandals or the bowling shoes would be accurate. Again, the other outfit has already been done and I'm sure there was shoes with it.

Thank you and you make very good points.

So far the Otomix shoes were requested more than any other. The main reason is the non bowling outfit needs the Otomix shoes, and it has way more "interested" right now. Plus it seemed a lot of people requested the shoes for a figure they already have.

And actually, my original thread was just for an accessory set including the coffee can, glasses, ball,a and pin, and people sort of randomly started asking for the shoes. So I said I would look into them. It never hurts to throw something at the wall and see what sticks.

So right now I am mulling the idea of offering a variety of these accessories either bundled together or individual. Ideally I'd like to just offer a single specific set of accessories, but I also don't want people to be forced into buying something they don't need for their figure.

Thanks, guys! I am currently working on the pins to get an initial paint app to show off. The pins are sort of beat to hell since they're supposed to be "used", so my plan was to paint them all nice and apply a couple decals, then roll them around in a bag with a few rocks!!! Authentic "bowling alley-used" weathering:rotfl


The technique I am using results in each ball looking unique... I figure that's not a big deal, since the ball in the film is essentially just a swirly black and red ball.

Oh, and the Otomix soles I 3D modeled arrive today, so I will show those off later. I plan on sculpting the shoes atop those soles.
