Just looking at this again, that bottom bevel may be for a pinky finger to make a better purchase, as the top bevel is for the thumb.
So I have to disagree with you here. Based on the prop weapon it is clearly grip tape on the back. And so I would believe it is covering up the rear spine of the metal portion of the fun handle.I’m not sure if this is helpful or not, but here’s what the back of the grip looks like on a real model 85:

In this case, the grips are two pieces held in place by two screws running through the butt frame and connecting the grips on either side. We don’t see any grip tape in the back - it’s the back of the frame that protrudes from between the two grip pieces.
Again, not sure if this is helpful.
I don't know what you mean by "in scope". There are no reference images that show the full photo.. so I'm still trying to figure that out. Not sure if that's what you're referring to.Not trying to be “that guy”, but is the framed picture of the parents in scope?
I was just asking if it was still going to happen as an accessory. I know it wasn’t mentioned when you posted what was remaining, so I just thought I’d ask to find out for sure.I don't know what you mean by "in scope". Ahh.. yes the frame is 100% part of it!I was just asking if it was still going to happen as an accessory. I know it wasn’t mentioned when you posted what was remaining, so I just thought I’d ask to find out for sure.
I knew there were issues finding a full image of the photo, but I also recalled that you were working on the frame at one time or another, as well.
Again, I was just trying to understand what was included in the accessories, that’s all.
