11/7 Updates

Outfit -

We should be seeing Yunsil's revised sample any day now and hopefully getting answers to a few questions I asked.

1. How much extra per set would having the shorts weathered cost?
2. Can people buy both plain and weathered shorts? If so, how much extra would that be?
3. Can people choose weathered or plain for their set?
4. How much extra would the knit hat be?
5. Is there anyone at Toribox that could make a screen accurate stuffed bunny, if so, how much would each one cost?

Sculpts -

Waiting to hear back from Sean, asked him for a progress update yesterday.

Accessories -

Robbie is still on board and will be working on items when he has time.

Wig -

The latest revision is taking longer than the last two, so I'm hopeful that that means it will be perfect this time.

Paint -

It's looking more and more likely that Mark will be painting the sculpts and we will have another painter do the hands and boots. We were talking to other painters to try to find one with a clearer schedule and one that would do the sculpts, hands, and boots in one go, but that has yet to pan out. I have no doubt Mark will knock it out of the park though, and it appears he's been getting a lot of his work done lately, so it should all work out great either way.

I received an email from Yunsil this morning, and she basically said she is still working on the revised sample and it should be done by the end of the week. She also said she will have answers to our questions soon. Also, she went to the large fabric market that's out of town and purchased the knitted hat material.

Still waiting to hear from Yunsil on how much the hats will each be and an extra pair of shorts if some want weathered and clean. Hopefully we see the latest sample and gets the answers this week.

Leon has always been my favorite film. And I was just wondering since we have an interest list for a Leon figure set, perhaps after this could we establish one for Gary Oldman’s character Norman Stansfield. I have never been able to even find one good enough or even of comparable quality to this upcoming Mathilda. It would be a great addition to round out the set after Mathilda and Leon.

That’s was the original plan, we’ll see how everything goes with Mathilda and Leon and then cross that bridge when we get to it. Mathilda has taken a lot longer than I anticipated, and Leon will probably be similar, so it’s a ways off yet.
