Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

I'm interested in Robbie's glasses for Leon!

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

Thanks to Anx10us for the tip about looking at Etsy, we now have an artist for the hat! The woman is super nice and does amazing work in 1/6 scale. She will do a prototype as soon as she can work it into her schedule. Her estimate is that they will be $15 each, which I thought was a great price, I hope everyone else agrees.

Clothing update 2/1/17: So far, Yunsil's company, Toribox, is the only tailor out of four I've contacted that has given me a quote for the outfit (jacket, printed shirt, shorts, and socks). If we were to go with them, it would be a little pricey, but the work would be perfect and screen accurate, which is really my number one priority for this project. If anyone that's signed up would like to know the quoted price just shoot me a PM. Until I get the other quotes back, I'd rather keep it private.

If this project go with Yunsil and Robbie, .... this is the best dream project !!!!!!!!!
I’m looking forward to birth of this dream art !

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

Thanks guys, I agree, this should turn out to be a very impressive custom piece when it's all finished. I hope everyone else is as enthusiastic about it as you guys are, I know the price of Yunsil could scare some away but I think the price if we get 20 sets made is very reasonable. I'm still trying to find a good seamless body we could use, the Pure Neemo bodies are difficult to find it seems, if anyone finds anything please let me know. We'll all need to agree on a body for the tailor to work with eventually. If we do go with Yunsil, it's looking like it could take 4-6 months before the outfits would be finished, so that would give everyone plenty of time to put back the necessary cash, and of course, we'd see a full prototype and be able to tweak things if need be.

put me down for clothing accessories and sculpt please

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

So.....anybody object to Yunsil? I'm leaning towards having them do the outfit, still haven't heard from other tailors about cost, going on two weeks now. Let me know if you want to know the Yunsil cost and/or if you would be out because of it.

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

I would be very happy with yunsil

I'd say don't waste your time on waiting other tailors, just go with Yunsil and you'll never regret it!
Secondly, I hope you can make a run for a full clothing set for Leon, because Enterbay's figure is pure rubbish imo. :)

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

Yeah, there's definitely some other great tailors out there but Yunsil/Toribox are not only at the top right now, but they were super professional and were emailing me back the very next day after I would reply to them, very impressed overall.

And yes, I do believe a full Leon run will be up next, once this Mathilda gets going, I too would like to upgrade my Enterbay Leon.

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [Sean Dabbs], Outfit [Yunsil?], Accessories [Robbiethepainter]

I'm interested for both Mathilda and Leon, fullset everything [emoji7]

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [sdabbs], Clothing [Yunsil], & Accessories [robbiethepainter] set

Okay, I updated the OP with clothing pricing from Yunsil, I think that's the clear choice here. Other quotes I received were the same price or slightly more, which was surprising, I thought Yunsil would come in way higher than the others.

I'll be letting them know tomorrow that we're going with them and I'll let everyone know when/how much of a deposit is needed to get on their schedule and get a sample made.

Thanks again to everyone that's signed up so far, and the wonderful artists that will be working on this amazing project! :clap:hi5::yess:

Re: MATHILDA Sculpt [sdabbs], Clothing [Yunsil], & Accessories [robbiethepainter] set

Also, let me know what you guys and gals think about a full prototype? It would add $550 to the total cost, but may be worth the $27.50 (or less) per person so we can get a really good look at the outfit before it gets made. We will see

As far as what body to tailor the outfit to, I'm leaning towards the Star Ace Hermione body, even though it isn't seamless. I can't find a seamless body that would work for Mathilda, if anyone knows of any, please PM me links or reply in here with them. I contacted Star Ace just for the hell of it and asked if they would be willing to sell 20-30 of their Hermione bodies and they said no, that they don't sell just the bodies....I figured as much but it was worth a try. I received the CGL John Connor figure last week and I've also seem the Asmus teenager body and they're both super cheap and just wouldn't work well for a thin teenage girl.

Have I mentioned that I'm excited for this figure to finally become a reality?! :lol
