I was really looking forward to this release; it was going to be my first from this outfit. Disappointed in the outcome however.
HEAT is my all-time favorite movie.
How the McCauley figure doesn't include his low-pro vest, balaclava and money bag, is beyond me. The head sculpt is off too.
Would've much rather seen Neil come in his opening armored car robbery getup. This version has been done by Toy Soldier and Brothers Production, and done better, at a much lower price.

If nothing else, even if the head sculpt is not changed, the vest, mask and kitbag should be included for Neil.

Ditto but I think people can easily get similar looking vest, balaclava and duffel bag for under $20-30 in my opinion and I don't think they have to be 100% accurate but as far as the head is concerned, it needs to be close to 90%. So, for me if nothing else, head sculpt should be changed for De Niro and it would be perfect!

i am on the fence on deniro, not because the headsculpt, but the outfit i dont like it.
I would love an armory car outfit.
ANy chance that Mr X, can make a new outfit as in the armory car scene?

I'm a fan of the armored car heist gear also. As I always shouted in the Wishlist threads, my dream was for Neil & Chris with both armored car & bank robbery get ups (as ad-ons or DX or whatever), and Hanna.

Unless this was going to be over the top popular, getting 2 outfits (and Chris for that matter) isn't realistic. I'm happy that at least they went with the bank robbery look, so both of the figures' looks are from the same scene. I've been stating the case of how necessary Neil's robbery gear is as it's an essential part of the character and would make the figure all that it should be. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that CK will make it available.

I got word back from the man and he said that the sculpts are final. He said they can try to improve everything with paint. My suggestion was to see if they can achieve a nice even Caucasian skin tone; not too dark and not too pale. I also asked if they could make Pacino's eye color more like Young Capo's.

I can ask for some straight on shots of the Neil sculpt in natural light if that will help your, or anyone else's decision.

So, does this mean he will most definitely try to improve the Neil sculpt with a new paint job? Is it possible for us to see some pictures of it when it has been revised or do we have to wait and see for ourselves in person? If new pictures are available for a revised paint job then it would definitely help me make my decision
