What do you want to do for the glasses guys? Anything I would do would be opaque. I'll need to know for making a way for them to fit the head for you guys.

I've checked with a few places to get custom glasses made, but they all seem to be hovering around the $80 dollar mark. That depresses me. I'm still looking, but maybe the sculpt should be made without accommodating glasses, and then once we find them, it would be a simple (?) matter to drill tiny holes??

My main goal was to make this affordable!! not only to me, but to everyone!!

Maybe you have another idea, CREG... being as connected as you are???? I'm open to ideas!!

I don't mind the idea of finding the glasses afterward, but do we need to drill holes? I would hope we can get some glasses made that can fit over the ears. At least this way the sculpt can proceed.

I asked Robbie, but he said no cuz he couldn't do them accurately enough... Mike quoted about $95 a PAIR!!!!

I rather not pay close to $100 for a pair of glasses, but as we have seen with other figures (Taxi Driver, Tyler Durden, Walter White, etc.) sometimes the glasses make all the difference. They are such a key piece to his look.

Maybe if we swap some ideas as far as completing the figure (clothes, etc) we will see the ability to splurge on such a key piece. I agree with you totally.

I would love for some clothing ideas to be shared. His wardrobe was so basic, but I have no idea if there is currently anything out there that is close to what he wears. Blue jeans (light colored), khaki's, gym shoes, t-shirt, sweater.

Photo etching? I can try a pair 3D printed but the WILL be very fragile.

there are sets of photo etched brass in different styles. while none are quite right, i think that's the best bet so far.

Lookin' good. I'd add the little indentation in the forehead and a little more roundness to the lower cheeks/jawline, less chiseled features.

I finally caught up on this thread and my two biggest concerns are: glasses and shoes. I have no objections whatsoever to the cost of making the glasses. I don't want it made in resin...they don't look good and they break very easily. I'm quite surprised Robbie won't make the glasses for this given that he already made glasses for other figures like taxi driver, that weird dude I can't remember the name that's played by johnny depp and various of other characters. Those looked complicated to make also so I don't get it why he won't make for this one? Oh well. Glasses for Larry will be a challenging project for sure.

As for the tennis shoes...the specific ones that Larry wore isn't readily available in 1/6 unless I missed something? Might want to consider having a special order of sculpted shoes that's accurate to the look of the ones he wore on the show?

As for the outfit...I seriously hope there's good ones available to buy that would look nice on the body and not making it look puffy or poorly made. Have you considered an outfit run?
