Hey all just wanted to provide an update.

After some real annoyance with the lens material I've finally got everything I need to complete these glasses. Hopefully more progress to show within a couple weeks. Thanks for the patience.

hey, everyone... I know it seems like I've been providing the same update over and over but barring some unforeseen circumstance I finally have the new prototype almost completed. I wanted to try a new technique before deciding on the final iteration that will be for sale. I should have something in hand by the end of this upcoming weekend. Thanks for the immense patience!

Ok folks, let me pose a question to you all. On smaller items like these glasses I usually don't take a deposit or payment up front. I'd rather produce the items and then just have them ready to sell. However my production process is a little different this time and so in this case I would likely need to take payment up front. How would you all feel about payment up front but then waiting a few months for the production of the glasses? when I take payment ahead of time it is usually a deposit, but when the item in question costs $65-$75 a deposit seems a bit silly.

Let me know what you all think.
