"Flower Lady" Portrait

Nice Hardy sculpt but not for $350. Especially since it most likely will be copied and sold in mass soon after its release. I wanted one but I didn't want to give the idea that charging that much is acceptable.

I totally understand that. I don't think this is a practice I can afford doing for everything I want. But for maybe a few select pieces, I think I can manage. & yeah, I won't be surprised if recasts of it surfaces. It's the state this hobby is in.

I'm kind of surprised that JD Kim is the painter actually. I was specifically told by Toria that Paul Prentice would paint, before I purchased. I saw a pic of JD's version, & it's nice, but I prefer what I saw earlier from Paul. Anything less than the promo pics, at this price point, would be disappointing. Definitely not knocking JD's ability (I also have something coming from him), but for this case, I'm a tiny bit concerned. Maybe it's another case of weird lighting, camera distortion, ..... etc, where my concern is misplaced. I guess I'll see when I get it .....

I believe its the lighting that makes it look a little off. I'm kinda new to all this and have never heard or seen Paul Prentice work until now.

That's what I want it to be too. Simply a lighting issue, or camera distortion or something. It might not be the 1st time I've overreacted to a pic :lol We'll see I guess.

For what it is, it's nice. Don't know if an official one from 3Zero would look any better. It still needs a bit of work though.

I messaged Vimal on Facebook and he said he may complete the sculpt. Also he asked if "people would be interested in the sculpt". I think we all need to shoot him a message to show him how interested we really are.

Cool, more peeps messaging Vimal. I kinda didn't want to annoy the guy so much with constant messages about this project. Plus the interest level wasn't overwhelming in here. So I let it be. Maybe one of you can convince him to work on this for us, especially now that getting most of the parts to bash a full figure might be way easier when the figure on the previous page releases.
