Is it so badly lens distortion or what?I mean DH protos was perfect, why this looks so wierd?

It looks simply like what happens when you get the camera way too close to an object you're photographing. If he were to pull back a ways I think it would look much more like the original sculpt.

Just say is it really different in hand from pics you made?Willis was the same.We all know-you are very high level photographer.Why here is no way to show it normal way?

It sounds like he'll be accepting orders for awhile, so there should be plenty of time to evaluate the head when others get theirs in hand and post pics.

Quick photo manip. I think there is alot of light glare on the nose which is actualy hiding the definition making it look big. I darkened it and painted in the flashed out bits to compensate and fit the casting image better. Also adjusted the eye paint work as well as other flashed out areas of the face. I imagine this is closer to what it would look in hand.

Yeah that's a definitely improvement. The tip of the nose still seems to hang down a bit too far there (and you can see in profile shots of the casting that it doesn't angle up as much as it should), but that should be easy enough to tweak in hand.

I understand you guys want perfection but seriously… I know it's an expensive head sculpt but it is an artist interpretation, pretty soon 3-D printers will make perfect renderings and everybody will be petitioning a hand produced work of art. Unfortunately Mr. Choi doesn't participate in this thread and is not inclined to change his sculpt. This is quickly turning into the diehard thread

Gido, it's the same sculpt. Those pics are from MJ, taken via a cell phone, not Dane, and, as such, you can't expect the same level of accuracy in the photography. I also think Dane's gone above and beyond with people's requests, and that asking for the unpainted cast to be sent halfway around the world for new photos to be taken is a bit unrealistic, and a bit unfair, if I'm speaking frankly.

Ditto. No offense but some of you guys really need to RELAX with these nonstop photoshopped pictures. Like Lakhota said, it's MJ's interpretation of Ford and I can understand how some of you guys are disappointed that MJ will not be tweaking anything when the painted version costs $250.. Well, what can you do about it? Posting your own photoshopped pictures of your version of Ford won't do anything. Yea, fine let your voices be heard but enough is enough. Talk to MJ directly and maybe he'll tweak the sculpt.
