Could a sports mesh, with black lining behind it work? This site has a heap of products that might work.

Thought this was a project offered as parts, rather than focussing on selling full sets. Which is why there are so many different interest lists. While I'm in for everything, and not really fussed if it comes at once or in pieces, there might be others wanting individual bits.

Thanks for the link! We actually looked at those Jersey mesh's first. Problem we thought of was that it's much too soft and doesn't have the rigidness of normal jacket materials. It's also very thick. If I can find something similar, but more stiff and more thin, I'll definitely use it. I've ordered a few swatches of something that looks pretty good from some online stores so we'll see how it goes. Thanks again for your help.

Regarding the Marty headsculpts, I'm waiting to hear back from Erick to find out if they will be cancelled or not. As maybe all of you already know, he's taking a different path now (Congratulations to him ) and it is possible that some of his in progress projects will be cancelled, but I will let everybody know as soon as I talk with him.

I'm another one that really wants all this stuff, but shoes and a hoverboard without outfit wouldn't do much for me. So, I might end up having to pass on the whole shebang if you can't get an outfit proto together in time. Why the rush to get the shoes and hoverboard cast? I reckon we could wait a while.

John and Jen are having a very hard time finding the correct fabrics for it, but don't worry, it is definitely happening.

Hi guys. tbay sent me here from the replica prop forum. I might just have what you're looking for. Last year I was wanting to make a small 2015 jacket for myself just to display. I planned to use this material. It would be perfect for a scale figure. It's light weight and easy to sew with as well.

Now, this isn't latex but for a scaled down version it would look pretty good.

Here's a mock-up I did in photoshop just so I could see my vision on a screen.

I have access to an endless supply of this material on a daily basis. Literally in my hands.

I know Mightq is the seller of the figure, but does anyone know who the custom artist is that made that Superman figure? The texture on the blue fabric suit looks pretty good and is in scale and maybe we can use it for Marty's jacket. I know it's stretchy, but maybe we can make a layer underneath it. The grain/gridded texture is the hardest part to nail down.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows. If the custom artist is on this forum maybe we can contact him for help with the fabric.
