Iminime Dirty Harry Outfit Choice Poll

I went with grey/red. I want Harry in that outfit, and I don't particularly care that another custom artist recently made that same outfit.

Iminime serves a specific purpose, high quality figures of licenses that Hot Toys doesn't have. I agree that they aren't the peak of high-end 1/6 collectibles, but they don't need to be. Not every custom figure needs to be at Beto, Kato, or Rainman levels.

That said, I am concerned about Iminime's increased pricing, and I am on the fence if I want to renew my VIP membership. It doesn't help that I thought the last release I got from them (Space Trucker) left a lot to be desired, especially for a character of that importance to me personally.

Sorry man but this made me laugh a little bit. I've no doubt that Iminime will do a good job which ever outfit they decide to go with and who know's it COULD be on par with Yunsil's offering it could not but to suggest something is going to be at least equal if not better just because you've seen a picture of somebody staring at something is hilarious :lol. I watch a lot of sport most recently tennis with Wimbledon on doesn't mean I can automatically replicate what I'm looking at lol extreme example but you get the idea...

I think this really highlights the need for both options. If you choose either/or you are going to disappoint nearly half of the voters.

The thing is there is a large group who own Scott's figure already, they will obviously want the brown suit. Now deal is wether they want it with the full set or would rather buy only the clothing and ofcourse buy the headsculpt too. I see it as a more logical option for them as full set accessories for this release really cant be more/less than what Scott has done. With the brown suit you turn off a lot of people who dont have Scott's figure/clothing and want a full figure from scratch.

However another group who dont own the figure, generally associate him with the gray and red combination as more iconic (as already proved in Scott's poll in his figure thread) who are probably only going to buy the full set to get everything will want that clothing combo. And ofcourse the profit on a full set is much more than a clothing set for Iminime.

What compromise I can see is make the full set the iconic grey red look. But when selling clothing sets make the brown set optional. Similar to the way clothing for Lecter was offered. I see that as the best way to please both sets of fans and maximising the sales...

Your point is? My statement still stands just because you study something does not automatically mean your gonna match or better it lol. Hint for what exactly? That Iminime will be going a Dirty Harry figure? Think we've all realised by now thats the case . Don't get me wrong Iminime do some great tailoring and I've no doubt they'll do a great job on this but from what I've seen from Iminime in the past do I think they can match Kato or Yunsil.... Simply no. More than happy to be proved wrong though as I want this Iminime release!

I think that would make some sense. On the other hand, he could do it like Lector and produce outfits on demand.

If this poll does nothing more than show Denny definitively that both outfits are needed then I think its a great result. From the start we've had it would certainly appear that way

I think that another thing to take into consideration is what the sculpt will be like. One suit might be better suited for a particular expression than another. For example, the grey and red might be more appropriate for the "Do I feel lucky?" smug/cocky Harry with the smirk, if that's what they're going for, but the brown would be better for a pushed past his limit, snarling Harry who wants nothing more than to end Scorpio.

There are a variety of things that should be factored into this decision, rather than just a generic "red vs. blue" scenario.

Personally, I don't think it's that complicated. Assuming it's only coming with one headsculpt, the expression should be neutral enough to work with either outfit.

In regards to the tailoring, definitely hope axe's confidence is well placed because Scott's tailor nailed that outfit and it will be very hard to equal (I don't really feel surpassing is going to happen).
