:lol I did say it was quick. I don't have much in the way of options on my phone and due to health issues my eyes aren't currently running at 100%.So colours are a bit off for me.

Yeah, the unpainted version looks perfect, but something gets lost in the paint-up, it seems.

I don't see as much Guiness in the photo manipulation unfortunately. I think the colour and size of the Iris could be throwing the likeness off. We know how paint can change a sculpt. The unpainted sculpt in black and white is dead on Guiness. Could anyone enlarge the Iris and darken them also using the firward facing photograph please?

I have copy the pupil from HT on it before.. is for my own view for judge only...so the come out effect maybe not good

sorry but the one in the middle looks more realistic. I have the sideshow one as well but as good the sculpt was those paint apps doesn`t look like a real person next to jnix paint apps

Yeah, Darren Carnell paint apps aren't that great, imo. His style is quite dated.

Both the HT and Jinx sculpts have winning aspects; though for me, the key difference is that HT (imo) got Alec's more "rectangular" eyes correct, whereas in the Jinx sculpt they may be a bit too curved.

However, I think Jinx's sculpt really excels with the hairline and the beard, and provides a better, albeit slightly too narrow mouth. I'd pull the trigger on this if not for my concern in the consistency of the paint app. I've seen some Luke sculpts that look great. I've seen some others that look very tan, and very shiny. I know what my HT Old Ben looks like already.

Regardless of my opinion(s) though, I think it's a very good looking representation of Old Ben. I may pull the trigger on it, but need to sleep on it, think, and mull it over a bit.

I still have to give Trevor's sculpt an edge when it comes to capturing his basic likeness (which to me is always the most important thing), but I can still see Jnix's looking really great after a paintup by Rahmier or Silentsurfer or whoever.

I wouldn't worry about the consistency of the paint app. From what I can tell Jnix is extremely consistent in all his paint-ups (does them all at once from what we can tell), and I think what you're likely seeing is photographs picking up different things. I've taken pictures of my Han sculpt enough times to know that photos sometimes bring out a shininess that I don't normally see. Under the detolf lights it looks as good as any HT sculpt to me.

It does as far as accuracy to Guinness.
But if I'm honest, all three are really just old guys with a white beard that bear a resemblance to Ben Kenobi, and for that reason I'll stay with the hot toys version that I have now until someone captures the old Jedi properly.
