Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt (Updated with New Pics on 1st Po

Where was this specified?

Well actually it is listed as on the first page that you can choose your scene but when I told Ax that at the beginning that I wanted the sculpt painted like the interrogation scene he strongly recommended I choose the Mob Scene because the hair style on the sculpt does not suit the Interrogation look but only the Mob scene. :(

Good point but I don't think most people would notice it. Go with whatever you want.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt (Updated with New Pics on 1st Po

Has the final price been determined for the headsculpt yet and will we be able to get a clean unpainted cast?

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt (Updated with New Pics on 1st Po

Price hasn't been announced yet and no unpainted casts will be made available. Unless something has changed I believe that is where we are right now.

Okay this is pretty much the final sculpt. The pics this time are a little blurry and out of focus because it was taken by the phone, so the skin texture details look a little washed out, if you guys remember the previous WIP then let me assure you that the skin texture on that and this are the same. The Hair was the last bit, and now its done. Next we will move onto the painting tests.

Very impressive!

I like it a lot. But I think the hair on the left side of the head falls too far away from the face. Like it's either defying gravity or his head would have to be tilted that direction.

If that makes sense.

I like the previous sculpt better. Those additional strands of sculpted hair throw it off, way to much length and hair falling down the side of the face and covering up too much of that forehead. Excellent likeness, even though very plain and nuetral, is a great capture of Heath Ledger.

That is the only solution that could be done to make resin hair fall in that way. Firstly in the castings it will shrink so itll come much closer, so itll have to be compensated. Secondly its resin so if it came too close it could chip and break as well as damage the paint.

The thickness you see of the strand is because as it will be resin, itll be too brittle if the strands were any thinner. Unlike Hot TOys or Enterbay this is not PVC.

That's why real hair should have been an option.is it gonna be casted on multiple pieces?or 1 solid cast?

Paint test should be hopefully by end of this month.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt (Final Sculpt Pics on 1st Post)

Any word on production numbers? Price?

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt (Final Sculpt Pics on 1st Post)

The additional hair strands looks a bit too thick tbh, though I do understand why the sculptor chose this route as explained by axe.

Can't wait to see this painted :rock
