Firstly please remember we are planning to take more pics, which will be updated later. But these are the final painted prototypes.

The craftsmanship is exceptional, no doubt. But there is something about the interrogation paint that I'm not feeling, the likeness took a hit. Still working out my opinion on the mob paint....

I feel the same way. It looks great on the figure itself but something is throwing off the likeness a bit. I think it's the eyes but it's harder to tell as a whole from afar.

I feel the same way. It looks great on the figure itself but something is throwing off the likeness a bit. I think it's the eyes but it's harder to tell as a whole from afar.

Yeah, there's something I didn't like about the eyes on the sculpt in general, but its really coming through on the interrogation paint. I dunno...

One thing I will say is the profile on this sculpt is excellent.

I'm having a really hard time formulating an opinion on this. The eyes definitely mess with the sculpt and I think the hair came out a little lamp shadey

The likeness and the texture looks amazing. But I think its the hair thats not doing it for me. It's too thick and well curled - sort of like Depp's hair in Dead Man, not thin, balding, mad man hair that Ledger Joker had.

Yeah, the hair is a little too perfect. But it's hard to achieve the thin/greasy look of the movie without actual rooted hair.

The paint is really well done, but is almost overdone in some respects. It may just be the lighting/macro setting of the pics, but the texturing of the face is too bumpy and his skin pores look too pronounced and almost crusty in some of the pictures.

Sometimes less is more. I think if the artist simplified the paint and allowed lighting to take care of the sculpt's subtle texturing, the overall paint job would look more natural/realistic.

I'm really struggling with my decision




For me, it seems like the mob scene is the way to go unless the hair will be modified for the interrogation sculpt. The eye makeup could be a little darker and the hair is a little overdone for both sculpts. I'm not sure if it's too late to address these issues. Still, a fantastic sculpt and I will be getting one

Just playing with the pics, slimmed the hair, eyes are darkened top right
