With no extension looks perfect.
See the shadow hides his chin, and the head looks narrow.

It's not just to do with the shadow, its the fact that when u remove the hair strand more of the head is showing, thus, making the sculpt appear wider. I will admit in this picture it does not look skinny or long but in every other picture I have seen of it on the figure it looks too skinny for the body like Enterbay's did. Granted, the chin is smaller than Enterbays one though. This is probably the best picture I have seen of the sculpt and it looks really tempting but I need to see more pics of it on the body to be fully convinced that the sculpt is not undersized in width or is just has a long face.

Both paintups/sculpt look ten times better without the hair extension.

. This is probably the best picture I have seen of the sculpt......

Yeah, the one to the right is the best I've seen of it too....

I can't decide if I want it or not. It's like some pics there are shadows, others have harsh light, others have macro etc...

If it actually looks like the photo on the right in hand then I would and will snap it up.

However if it looks like the photo on te left then I would pass. That honestly doesn't look that much of an improvement over the DX11 to me.

:exactly:

We need to see it in better lighting like u said before. Maybe just take some pictures with the flash, since we already know how good the paint job is. That way there will be no shadows and the sculpt won't look so different in different pictures.

I think most of us would, it looks great there! ;)

Sent you an email a couple days ago. Let me know if it's still possible to get on the list. It looks very good.

Yeah, I just don't know what to think. :lol

These are the best two.

One one to the right here.

And to the left here.

That's the interrogation paint up. Which is the same sculpt we saw in the first pics, and I wasn't digging it at all.

As requested here are the comparisons for the sculpt with and without the major hair extension on the left side of its face

Interrogation scene looks soooooooooo much better without the hair extension.
These newer sets of pics are very convincing.
I think it looks great.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted/Unpainted Headsculpt (MORE FINAL PICS UPDAT

I agree with everyone here--the sculpt looks way better without extensions. Maybe not perfectly screen accurate for the mob scene, but just way more aesthetically pleasing. Maybe due to some artificiality of having the long hairs sculpted, they way they necessarily have to flow out of the sculpt moreso than hair would on a real human being.

That is why the Interrogation scene painted sculpt is NOT having the extensions by default.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted/Unpainted Headsculpt (MORE FINAL PICS UPDAT

Extremely tough decision, but I think I'm going to go with interrogation

Very cool!
I have to admit, the pics yesterday had me worried.
I was just clinging to this image on the right.

But *******...These newer images are comforting.
I think these are a good representation of how it will look on a lighted detolf.
Definitely in for the interrogation scene.

The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is that the face looks skinny or long when I see it on the body.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted/Unpainted Headsculpt (MORE FINAL PICS UPDAT

^that's a very good question, can we get a pic of it without the extension on the DX11 body?

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted/Unpainted Headsculpt (MORE FINAL PICS UPDAT

I just want him to hold it in the palm of his hand and snap a pic with regular lighting to get a feel for what it looks like in hand. No shadowy dramatic lighting, no macro, no intense light.

Got the rare opportunity and privilege to see something the artist did recently in his spare time!

Im not a huge fan of the film, like some of you guys, but its obvious the artist is! Woah!
