I don't think the make up needs to be darker around the eyes, since u can't them as it is. However, there should be more black/grey/brown around the eyes and forehead and should be more smudged like the pic below.
I think you are confusing darkness with style, in the Mob scene he had a clown appearance with larger dark sort of triangular/circular shaped pattern around the eyes, whereas in the party scene he had less make up around the eyes.
Although this sculpt says it is painted as Mob scene it looks more like the party scene make up. However, most people usually think of Mob scene and party scene are one of the same.

I was actually referring to the the last pics of the mob make up, I had forgotten about the newest one from earlier.
I don't think the mob paint resembles it enough honestly. It seems it's difficult for people to get the eyes right. They either make they too big or too small, plus they have a very distinct shape.

Or u talking about the close up pics of the Mob paint job, which is one on the right?

I personally think the paintjob is perfect as it is.
From my observation from seeing all different types of customs, it looks better when the black around the eyes
are not too dark. I think you also see more of Ledger when its not too dark.

Yeah you do, which probably explains why he is almost unrecognizable with Mob make up in the movie and I agree the paint job of both sculpts look fine the way they are. I was just saying the Mob make up is not accurate to how it is in the film but that is probably a good thing if u want to bring out the best likeness of Ledger as u can while he is wearing make up

I finally caved and ordered one as well. The sculpt is just too good to pass up. I can't swing a painted one though, so I got an unpainted one with gap filled.
Now I just have to practice my Joker painting some more on some spare BR and DX11 sculpts. And start experimenting with real hair strands.

Just caved, and bought the Interrogation scene paint job. It might not be better than Adams or Bobbys, but it is the next best thing. Now I can finally sell my DX11. :yess:

I'm getting it. I just can't decide which paint I want. That one pic of the interrogation paint is awesome but I'm leaning toward mob. Im only going to have one Ledger Joker. No more varaints of this and that, just Ledger in the clown gear. The interrogation just really looks best and seems right without the coat and blazer, but I intend keep mine in full clown gear. But I've always love the ****ed up look of the interrogation scene and I still have that one pic in my head where the likeness looks the strongest.

Ok so u have made a decision that u want only one Joker in classic clown costume. So ur only problem now is picking what paint up looks better between the two right? TBH if u really only want one Joker in full Joker outfit then the Mob scene one (without the hair extensions) would probably be the ideal choice if u wanted screen accuracy. What is more important to u, screen accuracy or the sculpt that looks the most like Ledger, be it interrogation or Mob?
