Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt PLEASE READ FIRST POST!

What if those 6 dont respond? Will the waitlist become active?
No... not in any huge hurry to lock down 30 spots - I will be mainly needing the info when its time for thenon refundable deposists and final payments, so I can wait.
Waitlists become active only when someone drops out...

Info sent Axe. Sorry for the delay. :)

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt PLEASE READ FIRST POST!

Hey axe, will we to see a sample of his/her paint apps prior to NRD? Just to have something to go on? Thanks.

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt PLEASE READ FIRST POST!

Ill have to talk about it. Till now the agreed plan was to have that NRD after finalizing the sculpt.
Also I wouldnt worry much about painting quality. Im sure it will be upto the standards that SilentSurfer/Iminime/Kuato bring.

#3 on the waitlist...damn this sucks LOL

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt PLEASE READ FIRST POST!

Dont worry... with all my previous experience with such lists (though I hope it doesnt happen this time) there is always a 20% drop out rate on average.
Besides if I see the NRD's going smoothly and the response being good I may be able to convince the artist to increase the edition size... though not by much considering their tight schedule.

Of course! Im sure you know very well that most of the specialized sculptors in the industry do not always prepare molds and make castings and cleanings all by themselves. They all have apprentices and specialised/preferred agencies to do it for them. It saves development time and increases efficiency and speed.
Making a run of 30 sculpts by preparing and developing EVERYTHING all alone considering the schedule the artist has will probably take a whole year and more (maybe even two years) for everyone of the 30 to get their respective sculpts.

Well it wasnt a clue at all, just correct grammatical usage to denote responsibility shared plurally.

If you really want a clue, here is one:
The artist and his/her apprentices/support staff haven't offered his/her work for sale on these boards, ever...

Where might have we seen this artists work? It sounds like it's someone who's work the majority may not be familiar with.

Interesting. So it's possible the paint could be handled by more than one person?

Re: 1:6 Heath Ledger as The Joker Painted Headsculpt PLEASE READ FIRST POST!

I have sent PMs a couple of days back to the members on the list of 30 who have not yet PMd me the data I had requested.
Since there has been no response to them, if you guys are reading this, please check your inbox and provide me with the necessary information I have requested.

Thanks!

BTW sculpting starts from next week on Monday (as per my last communication)... the sculptor has asked for atleast a few weeks to show his/her first work in progress pictures.

Thank You for your interest support and patience, I know this thread will become quiet for sometime till the next update from me.
I hope you guys will be patient and bear with me till then.
