also i would stay away from using pics of adam sculpts as reference snce a still/s will always be more accurate and also some on the list might already have adam jokers and would prefer not to double up.
dig this shot. almost went with it on another commission and wouldnt be against the look. but i will have to get a different paint app for sure as i cant get another mcu.

I've always really liked these two. There pretty neutral and I like the intensity in his eyes.

Don't worry about scaring people away by voicing your thoughts. All criticism is welcome. We are all going to be responsible and committed to see this be a success because it has to be worth our while. We are all in it for the same cause - getting a Joker sculpt of quality which can be hopefully better or atleast at par with those made by Adam, without inflicting some serious damage on the wallets.

As for speculating his/her name, we should go ahead freely without any care about if it'll freak out the artist...its expected and is also something to keep us occupied while waiting for updates :lol

Besides I doubt they even visit the boards...

Another thing is I just want to make clear from before, that just like with ALL the previous 1:6th custom projects I have been involved in (The Demon's Head, Wall Street Killer, The Cowboy, Batman The Animated Series), I'm not commercially involved in this. That is I'm not making any money out of this. My stakes are as pretty much what you all have, except that I have the responsibility to convey communication and negotiate for both sides. So please consider that my control on the project and its outcome is not absolute.

Its still not set in stone that the run will be of 30 only. I will still be trying to see how much I might be able to stretch the edition. However I doubt it'll be possible for me to bargain at this stage... Only when we are close to finalising the sculpt/taking deposits and if the response at that time is very favourable can I use it as a bargaining chip.

During my initial negotiations the artist was reluctant to make too many castings, not just because he/she was apprehensive that there wouldn't be many takers for such an oft sculpted character but also that it would put a huge strain on their professional commitments in the industry. 30 was a number we managed to agree factoring in priority the demand, his/her schedule and finally total costs. But again let's see what happens. I don't rule out an increase in edition numbers as its on my top list of priorities to push for - but its still majorly dependant on the response from collectors.

The expression will be the standard neutral type. Not dynamic or too scene specific. Think Adam's later standard neutral which he gave differnt paint apps as per his client's request. And of course your assumed choice will help.

What will happen in regards to the painting preference of the waiting list people?

Would it not be a good idea to take our preference also? Should one of the main list drop out then that specific paint app be given to the 1st available wait list name that wanted that preferred paint up? Or is just 1 out 1 in and we just have to take the paint up the drop out requested?
