I've been a little busy the last days and I'm still waiting for the first flat module ("type a") to come but I started working on a complete Bat-Bunker Diorama.
If you like, please follow this as well, maybe I'll make some of the "type b" modules with backdrop looking like this diorama.

That full bat bunker will be an amazingly cool display piece. Even just with the tumbler as in there, will look super awesome.

As it looks like I'll might not pursue the "type a" version at the moment as I'm not 100% happy with this type's brightness
but therefore all the work of the dio will find it's way into the "type b" concept in the same style and quality,
so there will be a small run offered as promised very soon!

As I got some requests on the display possibilities and a price range for the biggest version possible I made this overview:

The maximum size version would measure 110 x 70 cm, it's the biggest version possible due to the shipping limitations
and it would perfectly fit on this IKEA Lack Coffee table for example with a little space around when placed on it.
It would cost [08-13-2013: Price removed as list is closed.] more than the regular version, especially due to the bigger SMD module and acrylic parts of course.


The regular version is the one with the proportions shown in my Bat-Bunker's example setups: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122281&page=10
and it would fit perfectly flush on this IKEA Lack Coffee table for example.
As you can see it could house an armory togehter with the Tumbler, too but as I said already, it could look a little crowded.

Hey guys!

Good news on the way:

Today I ordered the centerpiece parts of the dio cases, the custom SMD modules.
I get them from a local company that usually uses such pieces for illuminated advertising.
It will take a little for them to make them but I'll keep you updated.
Think I'll light half the neighborhood once I test them all. :lol
Will surly make some pics. :yess:

Also made a compilation for all chipboard parts I'll need for the basic framwork.
Will get them this week so that I can start builing and when the smd modules are ready
I'll probably be ready to mount them in the frames, too.

Just curious because your specs given are for the Toy Legend version which a lot of us unfortunately bought:bang head. They look pretty much the same. Only the very bottom looks to be designed different.They really caught us off guard with this one. Glad it is being released though.:clap

Hey man,

my custom dio is designed to be exactly 1/6 of the actual Bat-Bunker film set. The Toys Legend armory wasn't even announced when I started building so I was happy that it's pretty accurately scaled, too. It fits well with some space above.

Just checked Hot Toys' page and it says "Approximately 37 cm tall" so it should fit perfectly, too if they aren't totally wrong with that value.

The thing is the very bottom you mention normally is on one level inside the concrete floor but this wouldn't allow to move it around of course.

Still pretty happy with the Toys Legend armory but I know what you mean, Hot Toys made their set much to great to pass. :lol
Will be 3 Alfreds :slap in my collection then, not keeping them all though.

This will cause some fun at the post office. :lol On the picture you see one of the shipping boxes I ordered for one of the maximum sized versions. It measures approx. 48" x 24" x 24" ...
