How do I order the painted sculpt?

The rainman sculpt looks like plastic in front of this real-like beauty. (And this was my fav rainman sculpt, like right at the top). But i guess 250 is a tap out for me. Also, i already bought the rainman one so no scope to add another sculpt. But in all seriousness, what a splendid job this is... Kudos to the artists!

Also, i already bought the rainman one so no scope to add another sculpt. But in all seriousness, what a splendid job this is... Kudos to the artists!

Thats why I went unpainted! reduces the initial costs by a bit. I cannot wait to get it.

These recasters are total BS. It is a total disrespect to the artists. Its not like the prices are that crazy on them to warrant it. Either way MJ12 can gladly have my money on this sculpt... well deserved!

Just ordered my painted head yesterday and paid on Paypal but I didn't see that it said on the website about an invoice. Have I messed up?

After you sign up and add to cart you will receive an invoice from him telling you to pay the amount, from there you use PayPal and pay. Your PayPal receipt should have all the information you need for your personal records. I don't think he has placed order page like RM and Iminime

That's the thing though I didn't sign up. I just clicked on order and went through putting my details in and I never noticed the bit about receiving an invoice after ordering so I just went straight to paypal and paid what was owed.

do you have a PayPal receipt for paying him, in comments you should always put what you ordered, and address even though its on the invoice. I think you should be okay. Maybe Ax who is running this trhread can contact MJ and see if it got through.

So your gonna bash one artists work....to praise another's......but then choose not to buy and support that artists efforts because it costs too much......so your satisfied with a sculpt you just bashed and called plastic because it costs less? This is your motivation for collecting custom figures.

How can anyone ever take your opinion of anything custom seriously? Have you ever even seen a Butcher Bill V1 Full Rainman workup in person? Your obviously not going to support MJ's work either so you won't be able to comment on that as well.

If your not supporting any of this work, do you honestly think your opinion and critiques are valid? :lol

This one is more realistic no doubt in the picture. But likeness wise, Rainman's still have a bit on an edge over this one IMO.

If this one has 95% likeness, then Rainman's is about 97-98% likeness.

That said, I just got the Rainman bill v2, and in hand it's less plasticky and shiny than the proto photos.

Yeah I put what I ordered and my address as well as my email. I was just bothered because I obviously paid before being notified to do so.

Agreed. The skull cap he wears in the final battle looks more like this one.

Plus its not like anyone has receive this in hand yet?

MJ's painting in his photos looks unexceptionally out of this world. But the in hand pics (of the Joker) from freaks who already received their Joker sculpt isnt as mind blowing as his. I'm not sure if this type of paintjob level is achieveable yet? Only ones I have seen is him and Rovojin who are in this level judging from the pics they posted, but have yet to see these painting in hand.

Let me try and explain you again...

1) i have the rainman sculpt right here in front of me and i still feel that this sculpt is more to life (IMO) and i do feel that bill v2 and bill v1 are probably masterpieces by rainman.
2) i dint criticize anyone, i just said compared to this, to me rainman one looks plasticky, just the paint app on the hat etc on this one is very real like.
3) every 100 dollar matters to me. Since nov, i have bought taxi drive, bride, fight culp, brba dx superset, GBU superset, bill v2 , budgeted for tombstone, bill v1 planned, and also Marshall and candie (if list opens up) and amsterdam if list 2 opens up. This is in addition to the many PF and hot toy purchases that are so rampant for us. All my point is that if i see a sculpt thats 9on 10 (rainman) and i see a 10/10 but at double the cost i may chose a 9er, which does not change my views on something that i can't afford or stretch for. I can live with some compromises and buy a whole new figure of some other character with that savings... I really like to cut corners rather than a whole figure and thats my personal choice.

So you can "rotfl" as much as you want... But wet your shirt and do at my house, i may save some money mopping the floor...
