I think it's a bit too pretty of a sculpt... very well done, but has more of an idealized appearance rather than the very masculine look of DDL in this role.

Tried getting a couple more pics-sorry guys photography is not my strong suite . The little fleck on the right hand side of the cap in the pics was just some dust/debris picked up and I had not noticed. The paint job is in my view flawless.

The red cheeks/lips are definitely accentuated by the camera. By eye its more an even 'light brown' skin tone. Last pic-tried it in a lighting to see if the camera can do a better job.

Trust me, compared to my photography skills, your a pro.

I just meant, the perspective is looking up, where as on a body he would be looking more directly at you with his head more forward. Square on vertically. Thanks for posting the pic's. Nice perfect clear pic's. There will be many more i'm sure, and i still love Rainman's sculpt, so it will be great to have both in hand and do a side by side.

Paint work and sculpt on your photo's though look pretty damn good to me.

I agree, something's a little off...I'll judge better when I have mine in hand, but as nice as it looks, I dunno....we shall see.
Edit: the skull cap looks awesome, though. Just something about the face doesn't scream DDL to me.

Someone who has the sculpt put it next to RM and take a photo. Also I thought he said that he was only making them for two weeks and stop in production but I see that he still selling them

Pics don't do anything in 1/6 justice really. But I don't remember ppl second guessing RMs v1 head. This one just doesn't do it for me. He looks like he has a head cold and a mouth full of warheads.

I'd love to see a comparison shot too, I need to reserve judgement on these MJ sculpts until Im home next week to check my mail! So far photos hasn't been flattering for the most part, but there's been a few good shots to keep hope alive

I agree! It's refreshing to see a new take on the character. I really want to see one of these in full costume.

Just got this in....amazing sculpt. Cannot wait to paint it. Here a comparison shot as I had a Bill waiting for v2 mod. Im going to mod this to a V2 hairstyle as well
