Posting this to see if there is any interest in a Rio Bravo John Wayne Sculpt.


Head and hat sculpt by SCULPTOR.






We need at least 20 interested people. Price would be $95 plus $10 US shipping and $25 International. Takes about 4 weeks to sculpt and get printed and molded.

If there is enough interest, I will look into getting the outfit made by one of our talented tailors.

Sign me up. Outfits sound good to me. I know you can get most of it from Battle Gear Toys now.. Also, I swear I thought Scott (Velvet Morning) was going to do a Duke. I'm always a little surprised that he hasn't been done before. There was a thread back in 2014 to get Iminime to produce a Duke fig. He didn't think there was enough interest so dropped it...

A good budget choice for an outfit for sure. I was hoping for a nice tailored outfit for this project if there is enough interest. I suppose we should start to talk about a good body to use for this as well.

I do remember that iminime thread, it was too bad that didn't take off.

I'm always shocked how little response these John Wayne threads go. I can't really place my finger on the reason why? You can't really get a more iconic western character... He's never been produced before.. You would think people would be all over this...

I think the people here are just too young to appreciate John Wayne. Or other classic Hollywood actors for that matter. I would love to get Jimmy Stewart (Mr. Smith Goes to Washington), Clark Gable (Gone With The Wind), Humphrey Bogart (Casablanca), Edward G. Robinson (Key Largo), Kirk Douglas (Champion), Burt Lancaster (Trapeze), etc. but that will never happen on here.

Such a great movie! I would be on board!

greatlakes, another character that would be great to do.

If we could just get great head sculpts, these can be fairly easily bashed together. Maybe down the road the artist doing Frank can take on these kind of projects.
