Guys just got the 1st one I had done at Shapeways in frosted high detail. Detail is great, little to no sanding required, but the head scale is too big. Probably about the size of a DC Direct head for a 13" inch body. I'll upload some images, along side a HT head when I can get to a camera. Not a big deal at least it can be re-scaled when ordering.

I printed in white polished plastic. My intention is to mold and cast solid resin when they arrive.

Side to Side with TTM19 head and T-800. I'd cosider the T-800 to be one of the bigger HT sculpts and it lines up in terms of facial feature, but is larger in length.

This one is nose to nose

Here is a side by side of the Sheldon sculpt - white dimensions are the sculpt size, red are the ttm19 size (but bare in mind the 'high' hair on the ttm19). Its not a big difference, but considering how slender Sheldon is and if you look at him, he has quite a small head in real life, reducing by around 5% will make a world of difference when ordering.

Have you and the sculptor worked out a casting deal? Will you be selling the casts? And won't the casts be of a head that's too big anyway?

No, the casting will be for myself. I just think it will be easier to work with a solid resin casting. I'll re-order a smaller one from either sharp ways or sculpted, depending on final quality comparisons.

Ok, let us know the dimensions you choose. I can't seem to be able to edit the size of the head on any of those print sites.

Sorry to hear that! I had this image I had as reference. View attachment 52614 (by the way, how to I post large image?)
If you can tell me exactly the height from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head, or the percentage, I can rescale and update models on both sites.

Hey Milos, no worries man, I'm just as interested in trying out the 3d printing services as I am printing your heads. I suspected it would take a couple of goes.

If you shrink to 41mm that should be about right

I rescaled the models on Shapeways. Scuplteo has uploading problems since yesterday, so I can update them some other time.

As a result, there is less material needed, so
Frosted Ultra Detail and White Detail are about $4 cheaper,
while the Color Sandstone is less than $1 cheaper since it was already 42mm from chin to the top of the head; a happy accident for those who already ordered it.

I will rescale other heads during the day.

Is there a way to know if Shapeways will print orders in the new scale? I received an email that my order was on the way to the printer.

Do these t-shirts have the Velcro opening at the back? I enquired with Monika but she said she can only do them with the Velcro opening :(

Got my smaller head, perfect now. Also have gone about putting the body together.
Used a soldier story body, which looks good.

Got my flash shirt, made up some light blue under sleeves. Brown pants and currently using a pair of DC Direct TDK Joker leather shoes (waiting for Robbie's, when he gets a chance to do them).

Quick photo, painting head tonight.

Going for this
