Shirt looks great, pant better than before. But jacket can be more slim fit in my opinion, and the fabric looks thick a little.

I agree with the comments above. If I recall correctly this was the lighter weight of the two fabrics Iris suggested. Would it be possible to ask if there is an even lighter weight fabric available? I think that is the only way we will achieve a more accurate fit.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree that the jacket needs a thinner material, the fit should be slimmer, and it should look more natural as a result of these changes I would hope.

Actually Jeff this was material #2 which was the heavier material. She thought this was the better choice I guess. I'll forward on everyone's feedback.

it is denny. and i would like to say this

i really want all of you guys to check carefully.

there are many people ordered and we want to satisfy many of it.

1.it is not a suit jacket.

2. it is thinner than yunsil's work.

but what i heard it needs more fit like a suit???

if apl agreed, it is a easy work to modify.
but iris and i seriously ask you guys to check movies and what the fit like.

it is not a suit.

This is the rainman version, which I think was pretty spot-on. It is definitely not a matter of it fitting like a suit! I think it's more that it needs to be a "looser" material to hang/fit like the military canvas of the original. It was less structured. Some of that might have to do with treating/weathering it afterward too, though.

why i decided to communicate myself here is because i had some disagreement about a little things with leader.

what i see here is only 3 people reviewed but i misunderstood the feedback as many.

and there was few photos missing here too.
so i wanna do better check directly and if nevessary, gald to modify.
but al least we wanna comment what we think about the work and what we disagree.

fitring us an easy work and not a problem but wanna double check.

tightening : no problem

wrikling : well. not easy. you can manage the jacket by rubbing thungs and look more like natural i am sure. it is not a thick.

but i will check feedbacks and will hand all to iris.
what iris and i agree is the jacket is not like a suit jacket. check all movies.
we can just follow what people asked and wanted. but we think we should let our idea know to them.
we can tighten it very very little bit but not much.
check my fb and you know what i mean.

it is all about tweaking. you cannot do if the jacket is tight like a suit which i am asked and misunderstood a bit.

I think the top pockets need depth (gussets?) possibly. I feel like I'm overstepping my bounds as I haven't put a deposit in yet, although I will - i was just waiting to see a prototype. So I'll just add these references I found...

May be if we can decrease fabric weight, we can achieve wrinkling. Looking forward to see new photos.

Hi guys, I agree with all comments regarding the jacket so far and efeeke82's reply above.

I wonder if it is the fabric itself which is a bit too course or thick in texture? The M65 combat jacket he wore in the film seems a rather light fabric hence the wrinkling effect, although I take on board and appreciate that Iris has chosen the lighter fabric of the two. I think some revised images might help us to make a more informed decision. Should be stitching also be so light in color on the jacket? Perhaps a little depth on then pockets would also be advisable.

I think the King Kong patch on the arm and the western shirt is excellent though, it has been reproduced with tremendous accuracy.

The stitching should be the same green as the jacket if possible.

Here's a few things I noticed:

• Sleeves need to be longer
• Upper Pocket flaps are longer/deeper (I don't have reference for lower pocket flaps)
• Upper pockets seem to need to be slightly longer - may be the angle though
• Lower pockets need to be actual pockets to allow for tucking in the flaps

Overall, the original seems to have a lot of "extra" fabric that folds and is pinched-looking in places where it is stitched. Don't know how to describe this in clothing structure terms. I think everyone who's said the fabric may need to be lighter to approximate this at 1/6 scale may be right.

I agree with all of Comatoast's comments above including the colour of the stitching. I am disappointed that we did not proceed with the lighter weight fabric. I thought that was agreed.
