I am not sure who it was that mentioned it awhile back about doing a sculpt..... but... I just bought a whole bunch of sculpting tools and some Monster Clay... better late than never to try new things!

ah, i've seen it. but... (hidden as offtopic)

Spoiler:

the second row from the bottom, the second picture in a row that is presumed to be T1 on that pic.
a) T1 didn't have those Г-shaped connectors of hoses. his hoses went right into the scull, without that angle that would stick out on a human.
b) the hydraulic connectors didn't look like that on T1, not as complex.

both mistakes are very well seen on actual movie skeleton pics that you posted.

so that "2nd from the bottom, 2nd in a row" pic must be wrong for T1, and i don't even know its source.
saying that, i must say the same about "2nd from the top, 2nd in a row" on this pic below that looks like the same model.

i didn't say it in that thread because i hate arguing with people who think that if something was posted, it's already true. and because nothing would change from my post. but i care that you see to those pictures not being perfect for pointing out the differences

THIS IS SO MUCH FUN! I am really enjoying doing these projects for you guys:banana.

the problem is that if only one person wants something... it won't be made, right?
for example, that AVP game shotgun that i need.
or the future terminator gun from T1, called RSB-80 (or RBS-80?) on fansites, that i need, too.

of course i'd want them, but i don't see 20 people wanting each of them.

True but it also depends. If I can get a model done where a 3D print isn't outrageously expensive, then making a very few of them isn't difficult.

So yeah, not trying to get carried away with too many things but I'm open for ideas and then I kind of go from there, I guess.

As I mentioned I am indeed designing the double barrel you posted. I almost have to start design work before I check interest because I need to know in general if it will be easily reproducible, what possible costs to produce it will be, etc.

And like I said, it's just fun doing this, so I'm all for throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.

well i definitely hope for that 2-barrel, as for the future terminator gun, i'm sure it won't be popular + i made mine from some trash, so i'll live without it professionally done

P., it doesn't hurt to suggest things. The worst that can happen is that it doesn't get done, but you never know how many like-minded people might be out there. I wouldn't mind having that Franco Columbu gun as well, but at the moment I just have too many projects going on.

Alright, folks, I am trying to move things along at a nice pace, here. I now have a 1:4 scale MM1 and a 1:4 scale SPAS-12 prototype on the way. Once I have them in hand and confirm they look good I will accelerate the molding/casting process for the MM1.

The 1:4 scale MM1 will be cast and molded the same way as the 1:6 scale version. The SPAS 12 is WAY too complicated to be molded/cast, so those will likely be direct prints with some finishing work and painting. THIS IS SO MUCH FUN! I am really enjoying doing these projects for you guys:banana.

The 1:4 scale weapons are unfortunately more expensive than the 1:6 and smaller, but I am trying to keep even the 1:4 scale weapons under $100 each.

For now i Will have to put on hold the 1/4 hawk.
Ill focus on the 1/6 version and the 1/4 spas and ar18.
Hope something can be done to reduce their costs.
Can wait to see the prototypes.

I might be interested in some of the other 1/6 stuff as well, are those weeks or months away?

It depends, kind of have various things in various stages right now... what were you thinking and I can tell you where I am on a few things.

I meant the dolly and barrel and other stuff. If it was close we might hold off shipping of the grenade launcher. Of course it would depend on costs for everything as well.

Gotcha. The 1:6 control box will be ready quite soon. I am still working on the dolly, figuring out the best way to make it. And the barrels I haven't started yet.

SO, a few of those things could be ready and easy to ship with the launcher. I'll keep posting updates!

We now have enough of the 1:4 to confirm that scale! I will be emailing the caster tonight to let him know, nad I should be getting the prototype/master in tomorrow and sending it out Monday. We are also at 20 confirmed/pending 1:6 launchers, meaning we WILL need a second mold. I will email him and likely ask for a total of 30 casts. That will cover EVERYONE one the list (without dropouts) and give me a few leftover that I may try to move later.

No problem, thanks for letting me know!

I always hate responding to my own posts so often, but every so often the caster gets back to me immediately. This is one of those times!

So here's the likely plan... he will be mailing out all the completed sets soon (20). I will check them out and we can decide what we need to do finishing-wise (paint versus sealer, etc.). Then I can send out launchers to those who got 1:6 scale ONLY. In the meantime (and this is the only thing I am still waiting to hear back from him on) I will be sending out the 1:4 scale parts. He will then, hopefully, do the 1:4 scale versions plus the remaining 1:6 scale sets and then send those all back together.

Can I still get in on the MM1 Smoke Grenade Launcher in 1/6? Money ready!

I'd also be interested in that future Terminator RSB-80. I'd love that in both 1/6 and 1/4 scale.
