Hey guys, I just got an email from Sean.

It looks like he got in touch with some folks who are willing to do the outfit, details are a bit sketchy but if any of you would like an outfit made, maybe we can create a new list for that. Nothing is definite, but I think having a list is a start.

Let me know by replying here, and Solidus would update the opening post to in incorporate an outfit list.

Also, another update is that we're definitely proceeding with the 2-part sculpt. It might cost more, but it will be futureproof.

I already mentioned that I wished the outfit was still in play, so I'm in. It would be nice to see some of their previous work though.

Hey guys, some good news.

Sean emailed me that the project is moving forward, and that his contact, "Rise Collectible Toys" is already intent on working on a prototype battle damage outfit soon. I have no idea if we should ask for a normal outfit as well, that is up to you guys but the idea of a screen-accurate BD clothes seems tantalizing!

As for the price, the tailor said they "Hope can do it usd 100-150 if does not involved any genuine leather material."

So please, discuss away and share your thoughts.

Is the BD clothing the shirt, jeans, and jacket? If so, that price sounds good to me. I don't need genuine leather on my toy.

Yeah it is, here is the tentative list by Sean:

1. Army Blue jacket (with strap on neck, big zipper)
2. white long sleeve shirt
3. Black regular Jeans
4. Black boots with straps on outer part and with some silver buttons circling on top of the boots
5. regular gothic style belt
for the boots, is it better 2 pieces boots.

Does it sounds good? We could use the input before we finalize it. Also, are the jeans pure or washed black?

Oh another thing, I was wondering about the Normal outfit, does anybody want the most cost effective outfit which is the promo tank top and jeans? We can skip the boots or even the jeans if that's obtainable elsewhere.

To go the cheapskate route, we can also have the BD outfit made along with JUST the green tanktop AND that a belt for the normal outfit. That means the full BD outfit + Normal green tank top + Normal belt.

So please voice your opinions before Sean and I finalize things.

Also owndering, shall we get the normal outfit made and THEN add battle damage as an option? possibly makes more sense? It's a shame she never appeared with more severe body damage, as cutting into the phicen body and inserting sculpted endo skeleton parts would be fun!

I don't want to go cheapo. Since I'm getting a clean and a battle damaged head, it would be nice to have two full clothing sets offered. I'm fine with what I see for the battle damaged outfit. The jeans, boots and tank top is fine for the clean outfit. So, the original SS Phicen that was posted is what the outfit is being tailored to?

What exactly does big zipper mean? Horribly out of scale?

I don't normally switch out my figures, but if the BD outfit with normal belt and tank top ends up being the only option, I'll be okay with that. I can put the clean headsculpt on the figure I have with the Trevor Grove sculpt.

Anyway, for the BD effects, it's entirely up for debate. I wouldn't mind either since I can do it myself but I can imagine some folks wanting it to come with the effects. If it doesn't hurt the cost and everyone's on board, that would be good. Maybe the jacket should come with at least some screen-accurate bullet holes at the very least and blood can be added later.

I'd imagine the DX13 jacket being the reference for what we're going for but I don't own that figure yet.

I agree. Since this is a one shot project, might as well do the best we can. Unfortunately, we still have to cater to what the freaks want so lets hope they share your sentiment as I myself am all for it. And yes, we're using the Phicen PLMB2014-S02 since it's a spot on body for Summer in terms of height, body mass and built. Not that anyone else isn't free to use any other body of their choosing though.

Awesome Zod! Having these two displayed with the Hot Toys is the ultimate Terminator display IMO. :lol

Anyway, if it doesn't hurt the cost I'd love to see a full normal outfit but if not, we'll just settle for the tank top. That green top is near impossible to find in 1/6 scale, and no, the HT Sarah Connor tank top won't work.

I'd be fine with the promo outfit, because it just happens to be the more iconic look for Cameron in the show :lol.

But, also, as Sean aptly suggested, I wouldn't mind adding "battle damage" effects to the regular clothes, myself.
