I would love to see your figure next to Chilipep's :)

Did anyone ever take a picture of the DiD Moore next to the BCS Moore? I'd really like to see the comparison.

But I do believe the hair style on the DiD is more accurate to Moore in TSWLM... but I do love the hint of trepidation in Moore's furrowed brow on the BCS.

I did do a subtle hair mod that I think goes a long way towards the SWLM likeness

Both sculpts have their pros and cons. I think overall the DID head does have an older look, but i personally think the Chief is a stronger likeness and more refined sculpt. Either way, you've got a good option. I also have an unpainted Rocco Moore sculpt for sale at cost if anyone is interested in going that route

Wow, Mike that Moor to the left look even better than RM will ever look. I cannot tell
but is the one to the left the DID head ?

Your DID head looks a bit different from Ray’s DID RM . Is it the difference in paint ?

Is this on a TTM-18? Thanks again for getting this one done. I know this was a labor of love and the result is stunning?

Absolutely, the fix you did to the hair helps immensely, Mike. That BCS sculpt really is a masterful Moore and the best sculpt I've ever seen of him.

But it is a more youthful Moore by the skin and the volume of hair on the sides. That said, I'd love to see both heads side-by-side to really see the differences.

for latecomers we still have the prototype for sale at the original price. Please note that the cuff was changed on the production run so we no longer have the shirt: it’s just the pants, bow tie and jacket.

We won’t be selling the prototype at a discount So please don’t ask, apart from not having the shirt it’s identical in quality to the final run and we need it to recoup the money we put into this project to break even, currently and after the sale we will still he at a deficit.

Got my set last night! Thank you, Mike!!! So beautiful in hand. Even the wife was impressed with it -- that's no small feat.

Yunsil Tux 4.jpg

I had a body I thought was going to work but it didn't so I defaulted to the old TTM-18 KO. I was so excited I had to put him together today. I feel like I rushed -- even though I went slow and steady, especially with that button.

The shirt has little sliding hooks, then velcro at the bottom. I think it works well except I might have undone my shirt is the wrestling with threading that button.

Both buttons on the jacket are working -- there's a button hole for both!

Everything fits perfectly. I probably should have put a light padding on the chest -- very light, like 1/4 of a cotton ball -- just to fill the shirt out a bit.

Very overcast today so it was hard to get the coloring of the midnight blue tux -- like the movie, the tux changes depending on lighting like below. Pardon the amateurish pose -- still nervous about wrinkling the tux the wrong way -- for me, first futz photos are always rough...

Now that I know how all the parts come together, I'm eager to disassemble him and put him together in the best way possible.

I'd love to find some good hands. The DiD Walther PPK (got it with the head) is so small I had to use an extra small hand.

QUESTION for those in the know: I have what looks like a slight iron burn or perhaps a little glue stain on the left lapel near the cut -- nothing big, only can see it when the light hits it just right. For those familiar with Yunsil's work, would steaming fix that, or a little dab of water? Any recommendations are appreciated, I don't want to do the wrong thing right out of the gate.

Also, Ray, if you are reading, what are we going to do about the shoes and the watch? I think you said the shoes were a no-go but maybe on the watch. Robbie?

Hey Worgar

Awesome Bond! Can you maybe pull the shirt and jacket up a bit? The head seems to be sitting just a bit high

The best hands to get are from the HT Coulson set but they are really hard to find these days. I am now leaning more to the DID head as that head age wise I think is perfect!

Also love the BC set . Can’t wait to do a showdown between Moore and Craig !

Hope to get some pics up as my set should arrive soon .

Nobody does it better than ......

PS

You lucky guy, I see you are the 007 ( COA) :)
Congrats!

Thanks, ymba!

Totally agree about the long neck. I noticed that after I had taken my photos -- and its definitely the first thing I need to do on my 2nd round futzing this weekend. I checked the film and his shirt collar rides very high indeed.

I wonder if stuffing (raising) the shoulders a bit or trimming down the neck just a bit would help?

HT Coulson hands... now that is a figure that is long gone. I need to start paying more attention to figure hands. Likely I have many in the boxes I have stored.

Eager to see yours!

Yea to me, the hands are the most important piece to custom 1/6. The crappy hands you usually get with the bodies are all useless.

I don’t think you need to trim the neck. Your current setting just need maybe a bit of work and you will have 007 heaven . pulling the shirt and shoulder jacket up will usually
do it !

It looks awesome Greg glad it arrived so quick! The button is indeed tricky and takes time, but you’ve already got it looking phenomenal. I did use a pair of tweezers to lift the collar once the jacket was already on to get it raised over.

Wow, Greg, congrats! It looks already awesome! I was bit worried about I don't have BC head, because I see more RM there, but in your pics I see, then DID I also have works very well! Can't wait to get my figure together :)
We are lucky guys, dear sirs! Thanks so much Mike and Ray for this project!
(if any body have spare BC Moore head to sell, please let me know-I want to make younger version also)
