The attraction of this type of projects is that we can get something limited and unique. Is a shame this isnt the case.

And that's what i don't understand. I never get something because of its limited nature...I get into a run because it's the best version of something I want. And I welcome sharing in that joy with as many people as possible.

As a custom artist myself i do limited runs... bit I don't limit my runs for the sake of making things LESS available to people and this drive up the desire...I HAVE TO limit myself so I have time to complete the project and move onto another. If I had time to make more if any given run I've done or am doing I would gladly do so since it means more collectors would get to have a piece of my work.

If Yunsil is able to source enough material for X amount over the current list then that’s perhaps how many should be made.

To chilipep’s point, if more people means longer delays then it does make sense to cut it off at what she can currently source. I’d be interested in getting on given how nicely this came out (and I don’t even collect Nolan Batman! figs), but whether that’s this run or a second run is okay by me.

That's exactly right, Jaggz... in the end it is up to Hector. And I never felt I nor anyone else was arguing. This all, to me, is constructive discussion, and I think it's a good thing to have happen.

Definitely Andy, in the end I agree everyone should have a chance to get this outfit, but of course hope that Hector can figure out something that can satisfied both old and the new guys on the list.

I just concern everybody now is concentrating on "limited non limited" run subject instead of helping Hector to detail the Joker suit. Let us focus on finishing this project first before moving on. If Hector and Yunsil would like to open another run like lots of numbers of it, so be it.
I just want to open this thread and see more updates and more reference pictures instead of "I want in," I want 20, 50,100 of them" in every page.

Really don't mind to have a second round, as I just had one spot, and won't sell it
so no matter the market price, or limit the quantity or not is not an issue to me.
However, I am concern with the time deliver and when will this be done. I don't
think this is a good way (extend this run), as it will delay the whole process.
Also, those who purchase more than a set, is really making money out of this,
rather treat it as a hobby

I agree on this, let finish this 1st run, execute and deliver it before jumping to the new 2nd run page.
Hector and Yunsil can run 2nd run after finish this run as many as the demand wish. My Joker is cold for almost 3 yrs.

Somebody has twelve spots and multiple people have four spots? I just want one spot because im a huge lover of Nolans work and Heath Ledger as the joker for my collection. So getting to the point of the run having capped slots for each buyer, I believe anybody who has more than four or three obviously is only in it for the resale value which is a bit bitter on other dc fans who are custom collecting fanatics.

I've been looking through the chats and it seems people are worried about the limitedness even though people are shouting "fifteen!" Out? And it also seems fair for newer collectors to get their hands on it also.
Personally being a custom collector for a few years now I dont really care about the limited side of it so it only seems appropriate to balance the situation to both sides.
Opening new orders to 150 say, allowing all the people who are not on to get one set and leaving the people who already have big orders alone. That ways the run is still very limited but also allows OG collectors to have multiple and newer collectors to have one perfect joker that it seems many want.
I only hope this helps Hector and leaves the run at a close without a second round.

Limited items be dammed. I don’t care if there is one or one million of an item out there personally, all I want is the best possible item for myself. I don’t care if it’s from an artist like yunsil for 400 dollars or a mass produced company like pop toys for 40. I want the best and I’ll pay up to a pretty high price if needed. That’s why I buy custom stuff.

I have two issues with this approach though

1. Expanding the run endlessly. It will delay and delay and delay an already incredibly delayed run. The larger the run the longer we wait. This is unfair to those who have been waiting so long. It also negates the point of a list that closed years ago.

1. Scalping. You need 15 huh? Let me tell you what you really need. One. Maybe three max and I still think no one needs more than one anyways ( I know people are still obsessed about joker though I’ll never really understand why to this level of I’m being honest, meanwhile poor two face gets a re release over hot toys’ all time most dated and worst offerings and people are saying things like “who’s that guy again?” And “didn’t they make this already?” Anyways, I digress) These are scalpers looking to turn for a profit.

I said it before the fair option is to do a second run and if Hector doesn’t want the headache which I think is more than fair someone else should take over the run with his and yunsil blessing.

Let Hector collect money and ship to them one by one, just to prove the 15-sets-guy is not ascalper.

2.Will the increased number cause a fabric shortage?

I am aware that there are other international forums just like this. And I can imagine it'd be a little intimidating coming to an English forum if it's a second language. Or never even spoken it. I know I would if it were the other way around.
But unfortunately this is where the project is being run, so if there's members willing to help these international members come here, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Just so everyone's aware. YunSil has been aware from the very beginning that the order would be more than 100 sets. But I never gave her a set number. So I'd imagine that she's ready to take on anywhere from 110 set to 180 sets. I mentioned in my recent email to her around 140-160 sets. So lets wait to hear back from her.
