Hi everyone,
I think that 'District 9' is one of the best Sci-Fi movies of the last years. And I'm glad it is finally paid attention.
So, I would like to take part in the discussion about sculpt, etc. Here is my list of notes.
1. The sculpt is pretty good, but not very close to the original. I hope it will be more authentic after update.
2. I didn't find references about the scene in the thread. As I see on the WIP photos of the sculpt, the left eye has already begun transformation. But in the movie, the eye had transformed only when Wikus has got in an exoscelet. It is almost the end of the film. If we want to get character from 'Attack of the MTU', then the transformed eye is not relevant.
3. In the captivity in the MNU Wikus get two bald patches, for one on the each side of the head. It could be a sign of the transformation or places for sensors (for measuring a brain activity for example), I don't know.
4. A different stage of the transformation has a different level of alien flesh on Wikus' body. But if the figure will be in clothes it doesn't matter.
5. Interesting detail. Wikus cut off the thumb from alien hand, but after that it grown up. It seems a regeneration or bug in the scenario, I don't know.
By the way, I didn't find this frame in my version of the movie. It is a from cut scene?
