Plenty of drape over the belt as well.

And yes - MAKE SURE THE DRESS GOES VIRTUALLY ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND... please :)

The Michael Jackson look, with the dress half way up her calves, is the greatest issue with the HT.

The dress is actually about 2-3" off the ground - not touching it.

On another note - some small weights in the bottom hem may help it fall and drape the way it needs to.

Don't say that -- we'll get one at her ankles.

You have to allow for the pull at her waist.

I'd also prefer they didn't pre-stitch the waistline. I can do that my way with the belt and thus control the blousy-ness over the belt.

Also, if anyone still has it, the Triad Toys Ghost figure, had a cape and 'scarf' that was the perfect material for Leia's dress, excellent drape, a bit stretchy, and it was in white too, as a bonus. Might be worth tracking down.

Agreed, but it's tricky. Look at the photo's from the film that Wor put up, with R2 and in Yavin - both look like they are virtually touching the ground.

And as Wor mentioned, it all depends on how bunched up it is around the waist/belt.

I'd rather it film accurate, than promo photo's accurate.

So what's the plan now, Chili?

We're waiting for Yunsil to make a sample of the new material. Then, assuming that doesn't work either, we are on hold until some new fabrics present themselves. Is that a fair estimate of the process to come?

I'm very happy to see movement on this with three samples so far.

yep, she said she has another on order that she is about to try, I gave her our feedback on the dress length and drape as well. Ill keep you all posted!

in a recent email back when my order was placed for the second run Godfather tux, Jong from Toribox said yunsil would be in touch this week with our prototype

Yeah my poor Leia has been stuck in that awful HT dress for far too long now.
