Can I give a suggestion? Why do not you pick up some hottoys boots sole and then recast them? It will be easier. Say flat sole, would be Tony Stark or Barney boots? Just saying.
But it is not going to be easy because you need the peg....

The mattel boots are a better option than the Rocky boots. The Rocky boots are way too narrow and thin. The length of the Rocky and the Mattel boots are exactly the same. The mattel boots are also more narrow than the boots I use for my current Bret figure.

Sean is willing to sculpt the boots, however I think the fabric boots are a nicer option. Sizing sculpted boots can be an issue. They end up having to be sculpted really thick because you have to be able to tuck the boots into the sculpt so they look a bit out of scale. The fabric boots would be more in scale and Yunsil can fit the outfit to the boots.

I'll explore other options of course, but right now I don't see a better one. The maximum aggression boots would probably be best, but they would cost way too much, unless someone can cut the soles off and recast them.

Dont get me wrong. I totally agree with you about the fabric boots. If Yunsil is indeed capable of doing it, we should not cheap out on this. I didnt ment to ask Sean to sculpt the boots but to sculpt just the sole. After you mentioned Yunsil doing the boots, you raised the whole project to another level. There is no turning back now.
However the Maximum Aggression boots on your pic look very nice. Can you place them next to some familiar boots or a HT body with added feed for comparisson?

Edit: I honestly thought you were refereing to the Bret Hart Ring Giants boots. However the ones you have posted cannot be Max Agr either as they have no ankle joint. Were are those boots from if I may ask?

cloth boots would be a win for me....she may also introduce the different styles from all the other wrestlers...major win for collectors...

Can anyone cast 10 pairs of these? I think the sole would be perfect. I'm also thinking I could dremel around the peg which will solve the base/peg problem:

I actually don't know how to do this so I'm thinking the fabric boots aren't an option unless someone can help us with this.

Absolutely unwilling to turn this project into something that takes years so please let me know soon if you can help with this within the next few weeks.

Imj sure if u contacted rocco or any sculpted who works in clay or wax could sculpt these soles in 25 minuites for probly 50$ or less

I've actually contacted Rocco numerous times on and off for the past year about doing another boots commission, he hasn't responded to me even once. If you can contact him that would be great. I actually wanted to do this project last year when I got the Bret sculpt but couldn't get anyone to do the boots and Rocco wouldn't return any of my pm's or emails. I didn't even think of asking Yunsil to do it until now. Wish I thought of this last year.

Another freak offered to sculpt the sole, let's see how that turns out. I would have just bought the wallabees but there aren't enough on sale for the commission.

If yunsil gonna do the cloth, It is not regular cloth. As we know in reality, Bret wore kinda shiny boots.

She usually shows the material before she starts, I'll request shiny black for the sides of the boots and shiny white for the other parts of the boots. I will be sending her a lot of reference pictures as well. I definitely want the boots to look have that shiny leather look (especially the black part of the boots).

I sent her a picture when asking if she could do the boots, she said it wouldn't be a problem. In my dealings with her she will let you know right away if she can't do it (she couldn't do the ric flair robe I wanted).

Thanks for the offer brother, I'd love to explore this option if the sculpted soles don't work out for some reason but I have faith in the freak who's doing them for us (not sure if he wants his name out there yet) as he's a huge Bret Hart fan!

I just found out that the set will be 450 a piece for the boots and outfit set. I would prefer the money up front as I don't want to get stuck holding the bag. Let me know who's still interested and I'll start collecting payment once the boots are taken care of. If you're still interested please let me know so I can move forward with a solution to the boots.

Once the soles are completed I'll have them shipped to Yunsil and she can start the project. Once I secure the soles I'll come up with a timeline, that's really the trickiest part of this project.
