Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

I would be down for the 450 price tag...:)

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

Yunsil is usually charging 250 for a set. Are the boots really that expensive? If so, we should look for a decent alternative. ???

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

You want a full payment up front?

I talked to some freaks over pm and it sounds like a deposit or installments of some sort is more reasonable as long as I have your word you're following through on full payment. Once I figure out a timeline I'll talk to you all about the payment details, but no I won't ask for it all up front anymore.

Cool! you excellently executed that post!

I talked to Rocco and he would do a run of the boots he did for my hitman custom for 530 total for the group. So that would be a bout 53.00 per person (not including shipping). I believe Yunsil's outfit would be 300 without the boots but I can ask her.

Do you guys want to go with sculpted boots to save on costs and the trouble of getting soles? I'm actually fine with both options. We know how the sculpted boots option will turn out, the cloth version is a bit of an unknown.

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

I would want the cloth boots to be honest...allows for more posing mobility.....now if its just gonna be a static standing position then sure...sculpted boots it is...:-/

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

If it's a $100+ difference in price, I would probably go with the sculpted boots, considering we've still got to factor in the head sculpt, paint work, and body. And possibly knee pads as well (?). Would be cool to see her take it on, but I'm guessing it wouldn't have the stitched stars or anything. Yunsil has used glued on patches in the past for things like that.

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

It is a big relief to hear you'll do a deposit and installments of payments. I'm still IN! I can't walk away from this....a dream coming true to have Bret Hart in my collection! Thank you tbay for making it happen.

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

i'm super interested :)
cant go wrong with "the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be"
and have you though of doing an owen as well?

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

I'm fine with sculpted boots to be honest. It's be awesome to have material boots, but it might just be easier sculpted. I have no problems sticking with cloth boots though. I'm in it to win it!!

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

I would love to know whats happening with this project and if its green lit...also...whats going on the boots?

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

Looks like this project came a little short lately. With the named price for the outfit, what would be the total damage incl. headsculpt etc?

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

What's going on with this project? Is it dead or being on hold? Needing to know whether I should move on or what? Please update this thread. Thanks

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

sdabbs said he would do the sculpt and now the boots, still waiting for some time in his schedule. Sorry for the delay guys, figuring out the boots stalled the momentum on this project. I thought I had a few options for boots secured but the freaks ended up dropping out suddenly.

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

Please keep me posted. I would prefer it comming somewhere next year to be honest, but I dont want to miss it. :)

i'm still in but I would love it for it to be in the new year...please...:)

Re: Bret "The Hitman" Hart H&C set - sdabbs and toribox/Yunsil

Sorry for the delay on this, I couldn't find a sculptor for this project and I didn't want move forward without a sculptor for the boots and the head as I didn't want you guys to get stuck with an outfit and not shoes or head.

The good news is that Headsmith will be updating the Bret sculpt he did for me a few years ago. He hopes to offer a bald version for those who want to have real hair (I usually hate real hair but I actually think Bret might be the only character that it would look good on as his hair was pretty messy and he tended to comb it over his forehead). He should be offering a sculpted hair version as well.

He also will be doing the soles of the boots.

With all that being said I want to see who is still interested. I'm thinking payment will be due in a month or two as Headsmith is already working on both. Yunsil quoted me approximately 450.00 per outfit last year, but said that it might be more given the complexity of the outfit (the boots and all the logos).

Please let me know if you are serious about moving forward with the project. I actually just need 8 firm commitments to move forward with this project (I can cover the other two spots as I'll be happy with 2 Bret figures). I will charge everyone at COST and shipping, I'm not trying to make any money off of this. You would purchase the Bret sculpt directly through Headsmith and I am going to cover all of the costs for the soles sculpts for everyone.
