1:6 sculpt of Det.Vic Mackey from The Shield- New sculpt pics

Hey guys

Im trying to gauge some interest for a sculpt of Det. Vic Mackey from one of my all time favorite shows, The Shield.
I've talked to the uber talened, Troy Mcdevitt, who also did an Omar sculpt for me, and he's willing to do it asap Let me know who's in? Also what expression would we want? I'm thinking this:

I put one together once before but someone really wanted it, so I sold it. There are 2 styles of jackets Mackey wore on the show and the 2 best I could find to match them are the Betrayer jacket and the Wild Toys jacket.

The first jacket looks pretty accurate to the later seasons jacket. Who did that sculpt?

It was a crappy one that was being sold on ebay at one time, I don't remember the name of the seller but it was somewhere overseas.

There really needs to be more interest for this! The Shield is seriously one of the best shows ever and Michael Chiklis performance as Vic Mackey is nothing short of spectacular, this show really did pave the way for many of the TV dramas we all watch today.

The first episode was all I needed unlike some other shows that took a while for me to catch the bug, The Wire for example is also in my top 3 but it took about 3 episodes for me to get really hooked.

Exactly ! I love "The Wire" as well, but TS just hooks you in with the amazing pilot episode. My top three are also The Shield The Wire and BrBa.

Just talked to Troy, he says its final so ill have better pics of the final sculpt soon.

Looks good, but there is something about it that looks slightly cartoonish. I guess if its final and there's nothing to be done we really just have to accept it as is, since its probably the best version that will be done with such low interest in the character.

I have a resin prototype Toy Biz Chiklis Ben Grimm Figure that was never released. Could have been useful but he's smiling. Don't think a Mackey Smiling figure would work.

Ok cool, please let me know if everyone is good with the sculpt? I need to let Troy know how many castings we need by tomorrow as he's a busy guy. Also the cost with just us with 4 castings is $500 I already fronted the deposit please let me know if you think. $100 a piece for you guys is fair? Just a suggestion
