Corrose is willing to 3d sculpt and print a master for the shotgun with silencer and captive bolt however finding a decent caster is proving difficult for me, does anyone have a caster they can recommend?

Wouldn't it be more respectful of the artists original work to keep everything on this project seperate and original?
Just somthing to think about guys. Time to start being a bit more considerate for an artists work if the trend of copying an artists entire catalog is going to continue.

You are absolutely right. I should be considerate of the artist on this one. I will not disrespect the artist by buying a head that he regularly restocks for sale on his own website.

I understand peoples concerns , the Iris Butcher outfit is more so sought after I think than the original, due to the originals price and rareness. Iris's set was updated with different technology and advanced material making it more desirable. There will not be a need for older Rainman figures if companies just redo better outfits and better accessories to go with Mr. Lee's head. It is ruining people investments and needs to stop before all our dolls are worthless!!!!!!!

It really has nothing to do with rareness or value more so than a group of collectors not respecting the standard of collecting. This does not answer the question or offer a solution for limited availability. If this is not offered as a continuous run to be revisited by Iris every few months whenever there is a NEW group of interested collectors, than its creating a bigger problem than its solving and its just a quick fix solution for those that missed out or were priced out of the Original works.
...ok, so what about the new crop of collectors that will want to add these same characters to their collections once the Iris option/resource has already been already used? Is it better and possible that this can remain a continuous/revisited run of clothing so that the limited availability of it all is done away with especially if it's just replicating somthing that's already been done. It's just a question and somthing to think about.

I think in a few years someone besides Iris and Yunsil will be top dog and they will remake the same remakes everyone is remaking. There are only so many " Cult Classic" characters that stand the test of time and new and old collectors will want them forever. Not to mention the other 6 companies on OSR that can and will produce these outfits for the casual custom collector that cant spend 300.00 on a clothing set. I think its time to just sit back and enjoy what we all already have. This is the "I want it now generation" and they will do whatever it takes to get something made, look at Rocco's threads there is like 20 of them for new head sculpts and less than 1/2 have a full 20 on board, its a tidal wave of characters... . This custom hobby is dying my friend, unless some artist that is amazing wants to make less money and make less figures and only sell to the upper elite , the days of limited edition Rainman style figures are gone.

Crm toys did bickle, delarge and Torrance before Rainman did. Brother productions also made Anton First. Spencer did Dracula.... Velvet morning did butcher.... You speak of copying yet Rainman wasn't the first artist to tackle these and he certainly won't be the last. Keep the version you love most and move on.

None of the runs Iris has done have been open or unlimited as far as I know there has always been a cutoff date for each run, after that the outfits have went into production.
