Funny I'm watching TCM right now. :rock Beto will make LF, I can almost guarantee it. He's one of the top 5 horror icons, Beto HAS to make him.

I think Beto will probably offer two different versions of this with some time apart between both releases. They really are two different characters that require his expertise fatsuits, rooted hair, clothing, sculpt.

Or vice versa.

It would make sense to have them as two totally separate figs. That way if you wanted both you could have them displayed at the same time or if you preferred one over the other, you could pick and choose.

Regular Leatherface trumps pretty woman to me but I'm sure I'd go for both.

Pretty sure it's not where Beto's interest lies, but anyone else want a Blade Runner Roy Batty (I know this would be pretty problematic given most people will also want a Deckard... Just the thought of Blade Runner stuff from Beto... :drool).

Jabba or Leatherface would also both be cool (amount of resin in a Jabba, though :monkey4). Not 100% sure I need a Leatherface the same way I wanted Pt III Jason, but Beto's work is so good that it's possible.

I think vinyl would be the move for Jabba, with possibly some resin parts maybe the face.

Ohh, I see. I was thinking of Beto's headstone that he's doing for the bio-exorcist and thinking that Jabba would be the same (if I read it correctly, it's solid) but that makes more sense. Was just contemplating the price of a solid cast Jabba and getting a bit queasy. Thanks, turbo.

Yes, but Jabba is really just me farfetched dreaming. I'm sure Beto & Lu have a long personal list of characters they'd like to do first and foremost. Lucky for me and most horror freaks, we all love the choices!

I'm a Bateman fanatic AND a Leatherface fan! The original Texas Chainsaw is one of my favorite horror flicks of all time. Maybe not Leatherface as a character per sey but the movie itself trumped anything in the genre from the late '70's to the mid/late '80's IMO.

My first choice is the regular Leather face mask/suit because I prefer the look but I'd never pass on a pretty woman. The dinner scene is one of my favorite movie scenes period!

Yeah, same with me and Blade Runner. They've made it pretty clear they do horror even if they like other stuff outside of it and I can understand that. That said, it would seem that a Leatherface is only a matter of time, as someone else mentioned (maybe even you ) they've done all the other icons, Leatherface I think is the last out of the Friday, Nightmare and Halloween franchises.

First TCM I saw was actually the re-make which I was kind of blown away by at the time (seemed much more visceral that a lot of horror) and only saw the original afterwards. Have to say even with all the hype and having seen the re-make first I was surprised at how good/disturbing it was. The dinner scene and the escape/tantrum dance at the end was brilliant. Haven't seen that in too long, either.

If they do make a figure, I'd prefer the regular Leatherface look, too, but I would think they'd probably include both (like the 3 different sculpts with Jason III).

Well I'm praying for any and all of that. I wouldnt pass on anything from the original TCM and I'd probably be down with a pt. 2 LF and Choptop too.

To me the original TCM is similar to The Exorcist in the way that they both stood the test of time. I watch TCM now and it never went corny. It's just as twisted, disturbing and F'd up as when I first saw it in the mid '80's. AND it came out way before all the Friday the 13ths, NMOES's, Hellraisier and Halloweens did.

I know my request is going to seem extremely odd and it probably wouldnt have a high demand but Terry Gilliams 1985 film BRAZIL is one of my all time favorite movies, so my dream figure would be a 1/6 Sam Lowry complete with his battle armor and wings!

I'm not familiar with the movie or character and I'm not sure if this is really Beto's kind of thing but I can't say that it wouldn't make an amazing looking figure!

That would be breaking new 1/6 ground. A figure with wings like that done at a high quality????? Nice!
