Looking at Ray's figure, what he has done looks great but the proportions of the body are way off. Like most yunsils costumes, it's tailored to a body that has long legs and a short torso. It works for Daniel day Lewis but not for Gosling.

Not to kinda derail the thread, but do you have a good body in mind? I was also trying to be conscious of the proportions of the body but I don't have the eye for that kinda thing. I was thinking about a Hot Toys Count Dooku body since it has an extended torso, and then just use shorter legs, but I don't know if that would work for K/Gosling.

Good point Robbie. The overcoat futzing and everything Ray did great, just the pants.
Unless folding the bottom of the trouser a little bit, it is hard to fix the proportion of the figure.

I saw Jeff tucked the pants (from Blackbox set) inside the boots, seems not bad. I can't find where it appears in the movie though.

I have an update on the boots. The below numbers are cost to me. Just giving people transparency in the cost.

"Qty 20 , 85.00 each set
Qty 30, 64.00 each set
Qty 40 60.00 each set
Qty 50 58.00 each set
Heres the ugly part, it will take up to 5 weeks ( could be as low as 3 though) to receive the material to do this upon order. And , I would need a 1000.00 deposit upon order being placed so that I can acquire the material. Yes , this stuff is like liquid gold.
Once receiving material the job could take 2 weeks or more to do depending on qty."

I'm really interested in this because of the future possibilities, so I'm willing to stretch a bit to make it happen. Like sell the boots at cost as long as they are part of an order that I actually make money on, like say boots and blasters. Or something like that. I'll be honest, I'm tired of making stuff for the masses that is cheap. There are more and more props makers showing up these days. I want to start making high end stuff and not be hamstrung by making 50-100 pieces that are cheap. Maybe this is the project for it. Sorry just kind of thinking out loud.

I think this sums it up, at least for me. First and foremost, I want to support what you're doing Robbie, especially for something like this.
The BlackBox boots are serviceable for a reasonable enough price, but I want something high quality and I'm willing to pay whatever that costs.

I’d be down to rep for Canada too. I also feel like typical international shipping problems don’t ever apply to US/Canada shipping. Especially with being able to print your own labels at 50 percent discounts with netparcel from PayPal Canada, it’s easier and cheaper than ever
