I do agree let’s get the show on the road. Who’s opposed to paying whatever the price hike is to just get whatever was paid made already to get this damn thing over and done with? I just want the outfit and the stuff I paid for and that’s it even if I have to pay a little more

Yeah. Some updates would be nice. I paid for a painted and haired head sculpt, and never even got a response from Mark Simpson. This project was handled a lot better in the beginning.

Another update on the Mathilda heads, still awaiting lots of payments, seems to have been some mixup with SSF closing custom threads.
List of people from there, if anyone has any info as to the real names so I can message them please that would help me greatly, I've never really been around ssf so I don't know sadly.

Like many here, something seems to have gone terribly wrong with this project. I'm going to post a correspondence I received from Mark Simpson after kindofblue posted Mark's email address above. The message I sent was regarding my payment for the painted and haired head sculpt. I also gave him my email and mailing address. This is the reply I received back from Mark S on the 12th.:

"Hi,
yes I received your payment for the haired sculpt on the 11th of January, my apologies for the lack of communication on this, trying to relay messages through a third party has been a bit tricky, the whole thing seems to have just been a bit of a mess.
As you hopefully know I was just the painter, and it was my understanding that I would do the work (30 heads plus 8 sculpts painted and haired) and ship to John, sadly that somehow changed and I got left with shipping to everyone.
Anyway I asked John to call in payments at the beginning of October when the work was completed for the paintwork. After quite a few weeks of not hearing much, I tried finding out who was involved and who was part of it, which proved tricky as I'm only really on Facebook and Instagram.
At around December I sent John a message that I wouldn't start work on the haired sculpts until payments had started coming in (at that point less than 10 had paid I believe), and didn't want to put more time into the project if people had mostly dropped out. I then started getting more info from people who knew who was part of it and slowly the payments had started to come in, by which time sadly i had/have other work commitments, so unfortunately there was/is a delay in me getting to the hair work. But I do have your head here, and hair work will be completed very shortly. I can only apologise for the way things have been run, which is very poorly, and I'm still left with many sculpts that haven't been paid for. But all heads that didn't need hair that have been paid for have been sent out, although there was an issue with theuzi9mm and am trying to find the tracking for his order, but I have 2 remaining heads that need hair for yourself and for Elgreco. Which will be completed very shortly.
Hopefully this helps somewhat, and again my apologies.

Thanks for the update. There’s a bunch of folks on the new forum that are just as confused as me, and you, as to what’s going on. We haven’t heard from John in a while, and I’m sure now many are concerned that they paid for outfits we may never get. I know that part of it isn’t on you.

His following reply was this:

"Oh dear I'm so sorry to hear that, I'm hoping that that isn't the case, I will try and contact John and see if he can give everyone an update on outfits. But yes like you say I had no input on anything other than the paintwork sadly and never expected it to be this drawn out, Ive never experienced anything like it, but I will do my best. And will let you know when your head is shipped.

Take this for what you will. But it is now the 16th, and we haven't heard a thing from Bruisermoor (John) since I contacted Mark. This is more than a little concerning, considering how much money has been sent from everyone involved. I'm not trying to start a riot, but with Mark being as confused as all of us, I thought it best to share verbatim the brief communication I had with him.

I have paid for my sculpt set and have it already a while ago. That list also needs to be updated.... Nice paint up. Please pay the man people..


I am also happy to pay that little bit more if it means we can start on the outfits! Can’t wait to put this one together!!!

And what is happening with Sean’s hands and boots? - that doesn’t concern the outfit and I think everyone has paid for that??

I am but I have lowered it on my priority list because of the lack of movement on the clothing. As soon as thing progress I'll move it up. Also, the sculpt with the sculpted hair was not made to except glasses.

Didn’t think about the sculpted hair. So technically, only the people getting the real hair can get the glasses.. didn’t think about that

Unless you want to drill small holes in the sculpt to allow the arms to be inserted in.
