Update:

Received the prints last week and they came out amazing, the detail is superb. Unfortunately Corrose and I had a small misunderstanding and the length of the cane ended up being a few centimetres too short.

So there will be a little delay as these will get reprinted.

Thanks guys.

No worries man. This is a hobby game about having the best quality items not speed. So thanks for not only spearheading this, keeping us updated but for pushing for it to be as best as it can. Will be more than worth the wait!

any news on this project? Thanks man

Painted option:
If anyone is interested, there will be a painted option available. I have a good friend, who's a model painter. Service will cost $25.

He's currently painting one now and will have it finished next Wednesday.
Great news. Would like to see the unpainted vs the painted and make a decision. So the size is now correct? :)

Not sure if you did get them posted but I’d probably just go with the unpainted and not wait for the painted sample... easy enough to paint and I simply can’t wait to get this! I got my painted head back and a few things I needed finally parted out like a Ludwig Van bust and the very important work of art statue... this is the last peice of the puzzle to make what will be one of my top 5. Can’t thank you enough for getting both this and the head going!!

Thanks Ray, I appreciate the kind words. I'm very pleased with the outcome! I've got a few things to acquire before my Alex is complete.

Sorry guys for the late update. I'll get these. shipped Monday. Unfortunately the painted option is no longer available :( my friend can no longer offer his service.

But I managed to paint mine, like Ray said it's quite an easy job.

Sorry for the delay in shipping. Had to scrap my original plan of packaging.

I'm just waiting for something more suitable to arrive for international shipping. Don't want these getting broken in transit.

Finally found the time to get the sculpt and cane painted, like to say thank you for doing these runs, quite a big step from my old rainman (head)/medicom (cane) combo. It looks really nice in real life.

I painted up my cane last week. It was the finishing piece that I needed to complete one of my grails which. Now sits rightfully at the top of the heap of my favorite and best figures as it should. When I realized how much the old rainman ankxh I never really was gaga for in the first lace, really didn’t hold up over time it was a depressing sore spot in the collection when in my opinion, any hardcore film fan would agree that Alex from Clockwork needs to be among the best of the best.

It’s why I’m almost shocked that after EarlHickey saved the day with this amazing head and cane sculpts, thst there were so little ordered from him. About as shocked that we’ve seen so little renditions of Alex over the years.

In any case I’m very grateful that this run got put together and I was fortunate enough to have cherry picked the best items of all the renditions we have seen from Alex because I’ve always been on the ball when it comes to Alex.

I’ll post pictures soon, I ended up with these two items on the medicom, Garoua redman or sourced accessories and the rainman mask, codpeice and Jesus. I was able to sell the rainman for the original price I paid for too which is all that mattered to me.

I don’t buy these for exclusivity, I don’t by them to have complete runs from artists even if I love the artist and their work, if I can fix something and be happier with it I’ll go the hell in and do it.

No judgement on anyone who collects the opposite ways, that’s cool too.

Soapbox/rant done.

Anyways what gives the barometer of how much I value a figure or a character in my way too large probably almost 300 figure deep collection is if I find myself staring at it over and over or getting that “new” or just finished high every time I see it. It’s oretty rare that happens but it’s happening here! So happy with Alex finally.

Thanks again earlhickey!
