Okay so I darkened the inside of the hair and lightened some spots.

Now I''m trying to think which outfit suits him, medicom or SS.

Certain looks I like the SS outfit, but the collar looks a bit better on the medicom but the rest of the outfit looks bizarre on the true type.

Yeah. I hear ya on the SS vs Medi outfit. It's really personal preference.

Those do look good but that set of shots, I noticed that those are likely SS boots he used, so that might have a lot to do with how you can pull the outfit down and secure the pants deeper into the boots, that's what I did in mine.

Like you said JediJim, it's all preference. I wonder why I see in Jedi customs the saber belt is sticking over the vest, when I never saw that in the film, mostly the cloth over the vest until he takes the vest off when he turns himself over to Vader. :dunno

I think he had the belt over the endor poncho though. :lecture

I have been working around the clock at work so I haven't had a moment to spare on this yet. I worked 19 hours straight then had 4 hours to sleep before i went back last night, worked 8 hours, until 4 this morning. I'm finally off today and will begin the casting process. Ill keep you all posted on my progress.

There's always a way. You can shave the Medi peg down till it fits the HT wrist. Easy fix. Or you can try what I did which was break off the Medi peg and hollow out the glove with a dremel tool. Once I got it down far enough I simply drilled a small hole for a HT wrist peg to fit inside it. Works pretty well too.

A third is too dremmel the opening in the HT arm wider, I did that when I transferred the first Jango Fett to a TT slim. I lave have also shortened the wrist peg.

Looking good guys, debating myself still on doing this. Something still bugs me about both outfits. Really hope we get a Jedi Luke from HT someday or a SS redo with Endor gear.

My Medi outfit comes in tomorrow, which is exciting. I finished my second attempt at sculpting a wig for Jedi Luke earlier tonight. I think it's an improvement, but it started falling apart after baking/curing. I might've used too much alcohol when smoothing the super sculpey pre-bake. It makes the stuff pretty brittle. Hope I can salvage it, but I shelved it for tonight. We'll see.

As for choosing between the two Jedi outfits, I went with the Medi primarily because of the vest and boots. The SS jumpsuit is probably better if one shrinks it a bit.

Can't wait to see it. IMO the medico shirt is accurate however it doesn't look the best on the DX TT body without the vest. It makes it look obscure and thin, one thing that Medicom messed up was putting the velcro inside the flap of the shirt, so it looks really awkward with the flap down look, should've just let it bare for like SS :slap

Now one could remove the velcro, but it's just a pain that you have to attempt it. fft:

Anyway I think I got the color scheme on my hair to where I like it. Thanks for the tips on the medi glove hand guys, I found a way that works for me

I'm loving how the PERS really works with this HS,Again the SS outfit is more form fitting to the TT they used, but that's just my opinion. I can't wait to see the HT's Jedi in the future! ray:

It's nice to have choices regarding the outfits, and it comes down to personal preference. I intend to keep mine with the vest on, so the only thing that bothers me about the Medi outfit is potentially the sleeves. Might have to find a way to fix that if it's a problem. The SS outfit does look very nice in your photos, guyver. :clap

I had forgotten that DX Luke, like many modern HT figures, lack actual feet, and I didn't have any feet parts that would fit the newer HT ankles, so last night I bastardized some old HT feet to work with Luke's slim TT. Tonight I still have to paint the hair, belt, and fuddle with the clothes.

I'll post some pics of my finished figure tomorrow.
