Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Thanks guys. Double break in the ankle so pins and plate. This is torture for the Queen of summer socializing. But to help offset the loss of income, she is the caster for all the briefcases. So in part, you guys are helping her out. :)

This is absolutely amazing looking. Wish I liked the figure more to give more of a reason to purchase the gurney:monkey2 Great work again Robbie.

You need to change your name from robbiethepainter to robbietheyounameiticanmakeit.:lol

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

This is a quick photoshop version of how it stands now. I shopped the brass of the frame out so I could see how it will look after the finish is put on.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Levit05- Its functional. It doesn't ratchet but there is enough spring in the coiled belt to hold it tight.

Bullet- Only photo editing is the color.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

How are you gunna do multiples of this?

I see that as a huge pain in the arse

Cut all the pieces first , fabricate them , then weld or solder them all?

Mind Blowing , LOL

Dayyyyuuuuuuuuuum you continue to take the bench mark set by each your previous works and smash them to pieces with every project. Bravo sir Bravo!

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Well, these will take time. The good thing is Im pretty fast. Solving the problems is always the time consuming part. I am buying a small band saw to make cutting faster and I will generate a complete cut list with corresponding jigs so everything is done at the same time. I could have simplified things but like always, I get into it and can't stop until everything's right. Pretty much every piece making this up will be fabricated. The only parts cast will be the wheels.

Go big or go home.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

I'm working on some fun new techniques for this and also the Butcher rigs. Experimenting with outside sources for processes and materials. Lots of fun.

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

Good god Robbie! Always wanted the Plainview Backpack and unfortunately missed on that but glad my MSM came with the satchel, now when ever I have a figure who can use your accessories im all over it, you got such talent man! This looks amazing! No Lector for me but just makes me happy seeing the attention to detail that will also be going into the PF Briefcase and Butcher's belt/weapons! Keep up the good work man!

Re: Dr. Lecter Gurney

INSTEAD OF DISPLAYING MY FIGURES I AM GOING TO DISPLAY ROBBIE'S ACCESSORIES AS IF THEY WERE FIGURES, WHY NOT, THEY SEEM TO TURN OUT BETTER THAN THE FIGURE ITSELF..:wink1:
