Re: Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter from Captain America [headsculpt reveal!]

The sculpt looks great!

the headsculpt is great
will be interested in seeing clothes now

What I put together so far, waiting on stockings feet and head. May try to dye the dress darker it got lighter than I planned when it dried

Still need those eagle logos for the lapels, if any on has any suggestions for those let me know.

Tony Barton made some for my Colonel Phillips custom. His web site is here, and he told me he could make more of them if others were interested.

How much did they cost you?

I contacted Tony for a bulk order for this project about a month ago. He got back to me, said he needed to redo the mould, and since I have not heard back from him. :dunno

Please do write and maybe it will spur him to make these available.

I apologise for the delay on the jacket. It is more complicated than I expected. I hope to complete it this weekend.

Yeah it's closer to sideshow size upon inspection. I used a Ht body The black widow/ Jill valentine type. But the head will look smaller when painted.

The head looks perfectly fine on a Triad body (Alpha or EVA).

Hot Toys TT females have very skinny features. The neck and shoulders are smaller than Triad figures. The intended body has been clearly specified since these went on sale.

Snyderman provided this clear cut comparison:

The headsculpt turned out quite lovely! I'll have to contact Snyderman once my budget frees up. A family emergency killed a chunk of my savings, but Peggy shall be mine :mwaha ...at some point later.

Look forward to seeing the full outfit. I picked up an Alpha body a while back and removing the neck joint from the head turned out to be a bit of a trauma for me :monkey2 Not sure if it was supposed to be that difficult to pull apart (used a tweezer and brute force). The stock head will definitely not be going back on.

I had to pull really hard to get the head off as well. That must be normal (I have several Triad alpha smalls, but they come headless).

Look forward to seeing the full outfit.

The lapels on the jacket are what is delaying everything. It is hard to get them sewn to a nice point that meets the collar piece properly. I will try another solution tomorrow evening.

Preliminary paint up
I can already see some adjustments that need to be made
Also I did some resculpting under the eyes so the bags were reduced.
I personally thought they were too deep.
