I'm going to try to make a diarama base for such a hopefully spectacular figure, so none for me. It is a really good thought though.

I was thinking the same for mine. What did you have in mind?

I'm gonna start the headsculpt next week so I should have something to show in a week or two.

I was thinking I'd run through the game again over the weekend to get some ideas. I want to try to have it so it's not too big though. Although, it has to be big enough to convey the scene. 1/6 is a tricky mistress.

Okay, I added the saber hilts. John from IDM said he started the sculpt and that he would have some WIPs to show soon, but as for the full figure I have no idea. I haven't gathered all the resources to fund the project just yet.

I'm relatively new to both actually. I picked up my first hot toys figure back in October, and finished my first custom in February. I'm looking to add to my collection. This starkiller will definitely be the highlight for me.

I bought my first ht (raimi spidey) back in 2011 though he broke a little after, something that drifted me away from 1/6 collecting. Last year though i learned about the dr who figs and got bac in the game (kinda). I bought the 11th this year, preordered the 10th and now have 3 customs on preorder (nate,starkiller and elizabeth) while i'm making a Booker of my own! Lately all of the oficial releases did nothing for me. I'm the type of guy who wants one definite look for each character so i'm still waiting for the Arkham version of anything Batman related. For Spiderman i'll wait for the next movie since the new suit looks dope. I'm probably going to buy a MOS Supes and Zod,Sideshow Darth Vader,Darth Malgus and maybe a Boba Fett. I doubt Grievous will be released any time soon.
The thing with custom figures is that you know that they are special and one of a kind. I used to make customs myself (albeit ina smaller scale) but when i want to make a favourite of min i think it's better to ask a veteran to make him. Do you know if these customs rise up in price over time? I never sell my collectibles but it'd be good to know if my customs will be as or more valuable than the official figs.

Also,not to hijack the thread but have you played Bioshock:infinite? We're making an Elizabeth and we could use more people (we're around ten for a full fig, 5 for just a hs,another 3 for the clothes, i can't recall). There's an interest thread in this or the next page.

That's a pretty big collection you've got coming along. I hope everything goes well. I'm definitely buying a MOS supes and maybe zod. I have the nate and starkiller customs I'm waiting on, and I'm finishing my Max Payne custom. I'm also looking for an x-men origins Wolvie, and I'm getting the MK VII for my birthday. My first iron man! woot!

I actually think customs would go up over the years simply because they're so rare and part of a limited run. I never sell my collectibles either.

And no, I'm not much of a bio shock fan. But I'd love to see the figure once it is finished!

I'd wait and buy the "Wolverine" version of Logan,it'll be better and of course cheaper. I'll wait to see what 3a does with the marvel licence before i decide on an iron man. I'm really excited to see what 3a has in store for halo too. And not to forget the sith lords! The most interesting aspect of the sw universe for me were the sith and the bounty hunters.
